Okay, Miss Deborah, I will! but right now I have to take my dog to the vet and then fix my husband's dinner. Is tomorrow okay? I'll try tonight, but you know how it is. (Sheesh. Editors.) I hope my dog doesn't try to bite the vet again. Last time I told him my dog had never done that before, and asked him if he was a Democrat.

"Down, Liberty! Down! No biting liberals! They're poisonous! Now get down!"

WingWiper: I don't, but I am applying for a job with dmac on her fabulous new web site. Wink Maybe I will be a "frequent guest columnist."

I really just love to write, and love to poke fun at the self important, even more. I write for my amusement more than anything. I love this site; so many intelligent, informed, and witty people. It is like a good cocktail party without the hangover. So you know, I raised 5 kids, took care of my parents when they became ill--now my parents are gone, sadly, and my kids are out of the nest--so I have more time than I have had for awhile. I want to get a job, my husband likes me at home--something about a peaceful, quiet, CLEAN house makes his Naval Officer Sensibilities go all happy. And you know, wild salmon for dinner instead of meatloaf or some other budget conscious casserole.

So I am indulging him for now, because I figure he deserves it...but I predict the boredom will drive me out sooner, rather than later.
