Rush Limbaugh said that CBS put news rules in place after they lost the law suit to General Westmoreland back in the 80's.
The news guidelines were supposed to stop anything like this from happening.

That list of channels to boycott is a no brainer...um... except for TV Land.....oh well...I've sacrificed for my country before - I can do it again....  But seriously - CBS is banned in our household - and I suspect many others. Being a capitalist - I like to vote with my dollars on a regular basis. Haven't been to the movies lately either.....

Understand the significance and impact of the numbers.
That Rather is getting a 2.3 rating in major markets puts him behind Hannity and Comes. A cable talk show beating a network news program is on par with a college team beating an NFL team.
MORE IMPORTANTLY....
These ratings mean that CBS has to provide MAJOR give backs to their ad buyers and other sponsors. The financial impact on Black Rock over this episode is in the tens if not hundreds of millions.
