"The one down side I see is if there is any back side deals that come to light as far as Haliburton goes, Kerry will deflect right to that and the story may be muted."

If it weren't for Kerry's betrayal of the POWs/MIAs to get trade relations normalized, the two issues (Cheney/Haliburton and Kerry/Colliers) would represent equal liabilities for both parties and as Skypilot suggests, cancel each other out. But the POW/MIA situation changes everything on the Kerry side. At the time that Shanberg was trying to focus public attention on the actions of Kerry's committee (and Schranberg did not make the Colliers connection), Vietnam was nothing the American public wanted to talk about. There was already so much bad stuff around Veitnam in the national conciousness - The idea that we actually left troops behind, and then that a Senate committee covered it up so the world could move on - no one wanted to go there. Then you Swifts came along... reared up and demanded that Vietnam become relevant to the election, and here is this whole story, just like Kerry's heroics, waiting to be exhumed and examined.

UFB. Bump.

Just when I thought that Kerry couldn't be any more of *******.

This is an area that I also haven't heard much about. It deserves major attention.

Well this is a whole new world of free exchange of information through the Internet and that is going to have a huge difference on the ability of anyone to pull major scams on the public.
And it's going to for the first time bring a lot of previously ignored data to light as folks like us notify the right people in the MSM about what we find.
Way overdue but really poetic justice watching this house of cards of Kerry's coming down around him and it's his own actions that are bringing him down.
Using Al Gore's Internet.
Ya gotta love it.

Shocked Sometimes the information is just too
overwhelming for words. I believe there is a
special spot in hell for Kerry.

Shocked Is this old news or just a story that didn't get any play time with the MSM? Shocked

This was uncovered when Clinton was pres and it was swept under the rug, as far as the actual politicians involved. Al Gore and Clinton both got cash from Johnny Chung too. Remember the Buddhist fund raiser in San Francisco attended by Al Gore when he was VP? This is all part of that.
