Kerry said that the United Nations should have control over most of our foreign military operations. "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations."

On other issues, Kerry wants "to almost eliminate CIA activity. The CIA is fighting its own war in Laos and nobody seems to care." He also favors a negative income tax and keeping unemployment at a very low level, "even if it means selective economic controls."

Please keep in mind that John Kerry made those statements many years ago.

He's had plenty of time to change his position thousands of times since then.

HA! This is great. If you ever get into an argument with a lib. Just ask them how THEY feel about an issue, and ask them "are you sure that is what Kerry believes? He may have changed his mind since you last heard where he stands" =)

If you read the junk his dad wrote, it's pretty clear that
Kerry was born with his collectivist sympathies and
anti-Americanism, and has never materially changed.

As President, it would not surprise me if one of Kerry's
first official acts was pardons for Ames, Hanssen, and
posthumous pardons for the Rosenbergs, if not
Sacco and Vanzetti.
