Kerry advisers defend the sudden deep tan transition, noting how it simply was from a game of flag football last Friday in Bedford, Mass.

But the College Democrats who met Kerry were surprised by his rich tan glow -- before the game even began, the HARVARD CRIMSON reports.

If you read about the Kennedy Nixon debate experts claim Kennedy won on TV because he had a tan while Nixon looked pale .So once again Kerry is trying to act like Kennedy.

Actually, it was Nixon's 5 o'clock shadow that did him in. Even though he shaved *just* before going on, he LOOKED like he hadn't, because his skin was so translucent.

Looking at Kerry, I am reminded of the late Margaret Hamilton crying "I'm melting...melting... Oh, what a world, what a world!"

Except Margaret had class.

Why can't the Kerry supporters even tell an innocent truth? He sprayed himself to win over the "terror mom' vote by ridding himself of his 'Lurch' look before the debates.

He was so worn out and pale. If they would at least say that he did it to appear more fit, I'd believe 'em.

Actually, you bring up a good point. He does...without agent orange, look worn out and pale, yet ALL he has been doing is campaigning. He certainly has not been doing his job AT ALL.

Now look at President Bush. He is campaigning and doing all the things he needs to do as President, all at the same time....and he looks just like he always does. Strong, confident and on top of things.
