It's Massachusetts. They voted for Dukakis *and* McGovern.

It's not like that hack "reporter" is writing for a publication with any crediblity in a state with any sense of decency. Look at their Senators: Kerry and Kennedy.

He'd criticise Bush for his TANG service, even though he was in the same jet the same way I was in Vietnam watching Apocolypse Now.

The prosecution rests.

(By the way, I wasn't in Vietnam, I was on the other side of the planet at the time. I also wasn't in the same jet with Lt Bush. Marines are trained to have SOME sense!)

What part of "I voted for the war before I voted against it" doesn't that dipstick (I decided to bowderize again) of a reporter understand?
