You asked if Kerry retracted his denial of being at the meeting where the murder of US Senators was discussed. My understanding is that his current position is that he doesn't recall being there.
The quote from the Kerry campaign from the book Unfit for Command page 142 is "John Kerry had no personal recollection of this meeting thirty three years ago. John Kerry does recall the disagreements with elements of VVAW leadership...that led to his resignation. If there are valid FBI surveillance reports from credible sources that place some of those disagreements in Kansas City, we accept that historical footnote in the account of his work to end the difficult and divisive war."
This statement is a change from an outright denial but not an admission that the documents reflect the truth or that the documents are valid or that Kerry was there. I can't tell if that is a retraction. I'm still working on what the definition of is is from the Clinton years. |
