Cool Is Rather delusional? It will take less time to debunk the Silver Star
story if it is another KErrytale than the fake National Guard Memos.
This will put Kerry's Silver Star Fraud right back on the front page, something Kerry, unless he is insane, should want still shrouded by the mystical veil of fuzzy memories and missing Naval Records.

The MSM went after Rather and wounded him rather Laughing badly last time,
if they chose to turn a blind eye to the Silver Star story and let Rather
get away with it, then it will be a concerted effort to rehabilitate the old
boy, or they could turn on him and shred the last bit of his tattered reputation. Crying or Very sad

They're so desperate, they don't realize their stupidity. No wonder they think the American people can't think for themselves and want big government to decide for them. Main Stream Media is full of the very idiots they portray common Americans to be. I love it! Bring it up, Dan, you fool!

GOOD!!

Regardless how they spin the story, they're keeping the whole SBVT topic on the front burner.

And who know's, maybe Danny boy will try to show that seaBS isn't partisan, and lob a "spit ball" at horseface.

Either way, it keeps the SBVT story up front.

Turn Dan Rather loose with a shovel and he just digs a deeper hole.
Mary Mapes must be having secret meetngs with Hanoi Jane to cook up a goody this time. Did vietnamese typewriters have superscript letters?

For those tuning in to the latter part of this topic, there was a story within the last 2 months or so that someone had found one of the VC that purportedly fought against Kerry and, needless to say, was supportive of Kerry's position. Anyone recall the source of that story?

Sounds like Rather's "revelation" is going to go that route.

On the 50th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu

DIEN BIEN PHU, Vietnam (AP) – Smiling and waving flags, thousands of Vietnamese paraded May 7 on the 50th anniversary of the battle of Dien Bien Phu, celebrating a victory that ended France’s colonial ambitions in Indochina and set the stage for America’s ill-fated involvement in the conflict.

“I’ve been expecting this event for a long time,” said Nguyen Van Quy, 74, a veteran who proudly displayed the faded green backpack he carried into battle. “At that time ... we were all slaves and we had nothing to lose. We had to stand up for ourselves, and we were willing to die for independence.”

Performers dressed as the father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, and Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap – the commander of Vietnam’s rebel forces – were the stars of a grand show that included 2,500 participants re-enacting the story of how the better-equipped French soldiers were defeated by a ragtag Vietnamese army with an unbreakable will.

The celebration brought out Vietnam’s top leader, Nong Duc Manh, who heads the Communist Party. Defense Minister Pham Van Tra also made the 310-mile trip from Hanoi, visiting a war cemetery where nearly 650 Dien Bien Phu veterans rest. He said many lessons from Vietnam’s victory over France, and later America, still apply today in war-torn countries like Iraq.

Isn't "People's Weekly World Newspaper" the official Communist party newspaper in the US?
http://www.cpusa.org bottom right corner of the page in small print.
why is a newspaper listed as an org? http://www.pww.org/

The People’s Weekly World is the newspaper of the Communist Party, USA reporting on and analyzing the pressing issues of the day: peace, social and economic justice, workers’ rights, civil liberties, reproductive rights, protection of the environment, and more.

The PWW is the direct descendant of the Daily Worker and has been in the battles of the U.S. working class and people’s movements since the first issue of the Daily Worker came off the press in 1924.

From the battles of the unemployed and the campaigns to organize the CIO, through the civil rights and peace movements of the 1960s and ‘70s to the struggles that have given us the "new" labor movement, and now the growing movement for peace and defeating the ultra-right – we’ve been there.

Now, is Ms. Mason a contributor or staff writer? (not that it makes any real difference at this point)

If Ratter is relying on this, all bets are off. I'm locking the doors throwing the electricity to the fence, turning on the water sprinklers, and then waiting for the dust to settle. Smile
