1. There is only so much you can say in 30 or 60 seconds. Making your website address more obvious would be great. There is so much more information here.

2. The "Christmas in Cambodia" lie has really hit Kerry's credibility hard. If you have any others, where what he has said on the record cannot be entangled in he said/she said banter, hit hard with it. Anything that will further undermine Kerry's credibility will help your cause.

3. Get Steve Gardiner to say that he served on the boat with Kerry, and all but one of his peers, all his chain of command, as well as 250+ other SVBTs consider Kerry Unfit for Command.

Dr Louis Letson, is credible.
He's got to make it clear that it was common practice for
an (enlisted) hospitalman to do some of the
paperwork for a (officer) doctor.
Get the story out that Kerry 'gamed the system', by, getting an
officer to treat a wound that, if it would of happened to ten year old,
the kid would forget about the wound in about an hour....then when
Kerry's first commanding officer refused to forward Kerry's request
for a PH, he requested, again, to his next CO, who didn't know the whole story. all this unusual procedure was needed cuz Kerry's first ouwie did
not appear on a casualty list.

Maybe Kerry can land a gig as a spokesperson for Band-Aid after he is exposed as a complete and total fraud.

john kerry lied about being in cambodia during the christmas of 1968

john kerry testified and lied in congress how many times about being in cambodia on christmas of 1968

and now john kerry ,,you have changed your story saying that you have lied to the american people all these years

now if some one had a tape of him testifying ,or/and a newspaper clip of kerry and what he said about being in cambodia on christmas of 1968 ,,and then come out with a copy of his revision of what he now remembers after he got all that searing out of his brain

and just have his testimony flshing on the screen

and then come out in the end and say

when will you tell the truth on the veterans of the vietnam war ,,or mr kerry ,,do you still think that they are the liars ,,what memories do you think are searing in their minds

mr kerry ,,look at the autrocities that you have committed against your fellow vietnam veteran ,,the autrocities that you have committed against your fellow senators and your fellow americans,,with your lies

MR KERRY ,,YOU ARE UNFIT TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF

I like Beatrice's version thus far. Show Kerry in his own words. Theme~ He slandered the military he now wants to head. The medals he now dangles he discarded as contemptable. Show the cover of his book The New Soldier. Don't let what he did to vets then be repeated.

Go for the jugular, rock their world, don't pull your punches.

That will bring you a world of support. Connect it to the valient men now serving. How can you support them and him?

The current's ad's pretty good, don't stop using it. I only wish it could be broadcast on every TV station in the country, in every time zone, all the time.

But, if you're going to add a second one ... just use the photo of the young kerry surrounded by the "band of brothers" and have ones that don't support him go "poof", one by one or all together. At the end of the commercial, you'd have him surrounded by empty slots, except for a couple. Voice over as the photo's disappear ... something like "Who supports you, NOW, Mr. Kerry ... "

The above would take only 15 seconds, and be cheap to produce.

Cut to a still photo of the men who do NOT support Kerry.

End it with a strong voice over or logo, something like
We're telling the truth, Mr. Kerry. Why don't you?"

Flash the website across the bottom of the screen, along with the title of the book.

Also, don't over look that you could do some clips of his ORIGINAL testimony to Congress about accusing others falsely of war crimes, then cut to "tell the truth, Mr. Kerry" And end with a photo of his commeration in the Hanoi museum. Voice over put the quote from Hanoi .. "We couldn't have won in Vietnam without Mr. Kerry" or something. End it pictures of our troops in Afganistan and Iraq, and the caption with voice over "Are we going to let Kerry screw our troops AGAIN?"

Or, heck. Just flash a photo of bin Laden, smiling, and caption it "What Would Kerry do?"

Like others, a brief clip of Kerry before Congress -- admitting his own war crims, Cambodia etc.

BUT, use NEWSPAPER VISUALS or other document ABOUT HIM since people seem to be influenced by such quotes where there is something written.

Something about it's now true until you see it written.

Also, defuse "attacks on the SwitfVets" by pointing out that Kerry changed his "Christmas in Cambodia" story TWICE when the vets pointed out the true -- and will likely have to change it again. (i.e., His boat says he was NEVER in Cambodia.)

Club for Growth should do the one about "irresponsible to vote againt the troops" the "I voted for it before I voted against it.

There is a whole lot of material to work with for a new ad.
I would like to incorporate a sound track which at the outset plays
the most vitriolic of demands on George Bushes Military records. All the mindless blather we are all aware of. Then to a swiftie's voice over explaining how the Swiftvet organization is composed of the overwhelming majority of Kerry's superiors and fellow officers with a reprise of some of the lines mentioned in the first ad.

Then close with audio of Kerry's top ten most idiotic/spineless 'flip-flops'.
There is so much material there it could be narrowed down to something quite powerful, I’m sure.

Interlace this with some prime images and irrefutable facts and a demand for the release of Kerry’s military and tax records.

How about putting up just some informative web based ads in the meantime to debunk things like "they didn't serve in the same boat"?

You don't have to pay $100,000s to air them on TV.

Points to emphasize:

trashing of Vietnam soldiers
lies

and

Kerry's attempts to censor free speech regarding first ad through threats of lawsuit

The latter is a very serious charge and is quite unamerican.

Drive home the Cambodia lie with the Senate statement and his own contradictions to it as well as his 1971 senate appearance and meeting in Paris that he claims he did not do

The current ad is pretty good. But its missing 2 key points.

The purple hearts Kerry received were for minor scratches and were awarded only because he went behind his CO.

Kerry refuses to release the records pertaining to his medals, so we can view the facts.

mascari,

Exactly, why aren't journalists asking Hurley, Carville, Johnson, et al for Kerry to release the Form 180.

They say the Navy has released everything that was asked for. The tickery is "asked for". They should be more on the ball. We need to them ask the specific question and point out that not all of the information has been made available. Information that may or may not be damaging to Kerry.

I'd like to see an analysis of each individual aligned with Kerry. For example by name:
Which OICs did they serve while in Vietnam, and when?
How many days did each serve under Kerry's command and what were the dates (from-to)?
How many missions did they serve under Kerry's command and what were the dates (from-to)?
Were they decorated, which medal, what for, when and who wrote the commendation?
Where have they been, worked and lived since their service and what do they do now?
What is their financial, business, personal, marriage, etc., status now and what is the history in these areas?
etc., etc., etc.

I believe anything like that would be a dreadful error. First, this is a short ad. Second, it does not do anything but further in the public's mind that this is all just petty pissing match among former vets. They will tune it out. Moreover, the DNC is powerful and its capacity to smear the SBVTs is quite vast -- don't make this a contest of repuations about anyone but Kerry.

What will capture the public's attention is that there are disputes about Kerry's war record and he refuses to sign form 180 and release his records. Raise the issue of whether he recommended himself for medals for trivial injuries that may have been self-inflicted. Point out that his unreleased records may shed light on these dispute: "What are you afraid of Mr. Kerry? The truth?"

The public in general doesn't have the attention span for focusing on back and forth disputes as to who said what, who is funding them, what their credentials are & etc. You cannot get all of O'Neill's book in a 60 second ad, and it is bad PR to focus on anything more than one or two easily grasped issues that put Kerry on the defensive, that leave the ball only in his court. One such issue is his sole ability to make those records available. The challenge must be simple and something the public can readily grasp.

He has relevant records but will not release them. Why not?
