I have had it with these talking head idiots getting away with this BS just because they have the forum - thank God for this site.

Point 1:
Chris Matthews tells Pat Buchannan that Kerry's "Cambodian Dream" was "poetic license." Tonight, on FOX News with Brit Hume, Juan Williams said that it was a 'trivial and insignificant' matter.

The point that needs to be made CLEARLY, is that not only has Kerry been proven to have lied, but his 'seared' memory was used to influence and debate national foriegn policy on the floor of the U.S. Senate.

Point 2:
The mainstream media jumped on the William Rood bandwagon at light-speed. If I understand his version, he was on another boat during the "John 'Wayne' Kerry storm the beach to get a Silver Star" sortie. If Mr. Rood was on another boat, and can serve as an unimpeachable witness, then why are the eye witness accounts of Jack Chenoweth, Van Odell and Larry Thurlow all just a pack of lies and caused by the 'fog of war'?

Point 3:
Kerry and his media minions are trashing Col Cordier - it takes huge balls for the Kerry camp to take issue with a former POW who gave up more in the service of this country than could or should be asked of from anyone! The most battle testing that has ever happened to any of the ridiculous pinheads defending Kerry are some very vicious, and I am sure deeply painful papercuts!

Point 4:
All of this aside - I just watched the C-SPAN broadcast of the '71 "Kerry grandstand" in front of the Senate. My larger concern after watching and listening that , is that I am hearing him try do the same the thing today regarding the war on terror in Iraq. The same words, the same inflection, the same 'high minded', condescending tone! I flew combat in the Gulf, over Iraq in '91, and his positions on Iraq today are impeaching the service of not only the Swiftees and the Vietnam Vets - but all veterans. This guy is the lowest form of life on the planet, and HAS got to be STOPPED!

The only positive news is tha the guts and courage of the SBVFT IS having an effect on Sen. Droopy! Please don't give up the fight. I stand by to help in any way I can.

Cheers,

Dragon

Quick comments on bits of the show:

Who was that guy he had on from the VVAW? Was going on and on about US policy and how right Kerry was (stood with him back then and still now) and that 3 million Vietnamese died, and "how do we think they died?" (no answer, but he let the comment hang there -- implying it was all our doing?? -- maybe I misinterpreted his phrasing?). That our policy involved "free fire zones" and Alan chimed in that that was our gov't policy and what a disgrace -- and the implication from that phrase is that: here's the zone, now shoot everything in sight! And Kerry seems to say that simply BEING in a free fire zone, means that you are intent on killing everything that moves and that is what everyone did... [That's what he said/implied in his '71 testimony that I listened to tonight. Didn't sound to me like he was just talking about the "150 testifying vets" but that he was speaking about all vets.]

This VVAW guy tonight was supporting and repeating and DEFENDING what Kerry had said in his '71 testimony about the fire zones & etc., yet, it is my understanding that men in a free fire zone are still responsible for making ethical decisions within that zone, and that in general, that is exactly what they did! Too bad O'Neill or Ollie weren't there to counter this man. Sean did mention it though.

When Sean asked him about the upsidedown American flag on the cover of Kerry's book he just sort of waved if off saying it was a universal (?) sign of distress or danger (can't recall his actual words) .. I took his meaning to be that it symbolized America in danger of some kind, under stress... I guess I'm not up on my symbols, but to me in my simple way, when I see that, it is a sign of disrespect, a sign of condemnation. Maybe if I was an intellectual I'd catch the deeper nuances of the cover of that book.... (Following his reasoning, when we see the American flag upsidedown or burning in streets around the world, these people are only trying to convey to us that they understand we are in trouble and stressed out??)

The guy gave me the creeps..... He argued with Sean that Kerry never ever said that he, personally, committed atrocities. Sean wanted to bet $1,000 and then up to $100,000 that he had a tape with Kerry saying that, and the guy argued to the bitter end that Sean was lying and ended up betting a case of beer. ..??

This guy appears to still be a believer in "their cause" from the 70s... I was seeing red while I listened, so maybe I didn't hear as clearly as I should. He said/ or implied that JK doesn't need to apologize to anybody --He does remain a friend of Kerry's. Makes you wonder if Kerry did make it into the Whitehouse if a guy like this would have some overnights there.... Hope some of you got to see him -- comments?

Don't feel down Dragon...With O'Neill in the tub, I'm sure he has the Meatball, in his legal sights...No grass growing under his feet...The pinheads you referred to, are spinning as fast as they can..O'Neill has said "Sue Me" and the main reason he don't is because the medical records would be on the table...That would be BAD news for the Donkey...

Did anyone see Hannity tonight on Hannity and Colmes when he was interviewing that girl that is singing at the GOP Convention? THAT WAS GREAT. "So, are you enthusiastically voting for Bush or not?" and she said no.

She kept saying how she was "enthusiastic about America" and Hannity said, "well, this isnt the American Convention, its the GOP Convention!" How great was that!

Then the girl actually said "If there was a democrat running with my same values, I would vote for him." Maybe we should find another singer....

Hannity is taking apart Kerry's lackeys one by one. He breaks the question down to the point of a yes or no answer is only acceptable. At that point they go off on some tirade of no relevance. They are cornered like rats and can't give an answer about FORM 180!!!

Yea...and so that kerry idiot GREGORY was on tv tonight and featured on an infamous book cover said..."The upside down flag is a sign of veterans in despair"....DUH! Gregory and kerry caused the despair with their flapping lips while better men than either of them enjoyed VC hospitality at Hanoi Hilton.

Gregory doesn't have a clue about much. He looks like a Chia Pet or a reject from Hair Club For Men. I think that's a side affect from the Kool-Ade.

Wow, I don't recall when I've seen one of the Kerry Klowns backpedalling so fast.

"Well, Sean, I don't have $100,000..."

Yeah, knucklehead, and you don't have the sense of a doorknob, either!

If Shawn has the tape of Kerry's statment(I believe it was from Face the Nation back in the Seventy's) how come he did not show it? Is it some kind of licenceing thing or somthing? Is Face the Nation supressing the tape and not allowing it to be shown?

O/T
Note

A new documentary, "Brothers in Arms," will be released in a theater in New York and on DVD everywhere on Friday that highlights Kerry and the veterans who served with him, and filmmaker Paul Alexander said he found the veterans' stories very convincing.
