They were great speeches. The contrast between the Rep's and Demo's was like night and day.
Two thumbs way up.

The heads on Fox also were critical of McCains speech, but I just have to disagree. I thought he was great in his own little way. Personally, I think Kerry was cringing listening to McCains comments. And what is up with Michael Moore at the RNC? What Einstein made THAT decision? God he makes me want to puke. He looked like a cow chewing cud when everyone was boo-ing him.

Yes, I agree, great speeches. Made me feel proud to be an american.

Rudy did a great job of representing Kerry's taking both sides of so many issues.

I'm ready to Re-up! I've been waiting for this for 33 years. Again, I am so proud to be an American.

Honestly, this night was nothing compared to what you guys have done. Among undecided independents, Kerry is liked by a whopping 16% of respondents. The first two SBVT ads were the two most devasting ads in the history of politics. Kerry is unelectable now. And don't you guys have even better ones coming? I read something of about an October surprise.

I have a grandfather that was in a coma for 3 weeks and lost the use of the left side of his body till the day he died because of the wounds he suffered at the hands of the enemy. He never wanted a medal for his wounds. But Kerry would parade all his medals after throwing them over a fence. Give me a break. He did recieve band-aids for his injuries. SAD!

I am sick and tired of people pretending to be warriors...And Kerry is the biggest pretender my family has ever seen!

Outstanding!

The first night of the RNC was more moving and exciting than the whole week of the DNC!

"Inexcusable" -- that's what he said. Inexcusable to mock Kerry's service in Viet Nam".

Hope he's enjoying the fabulous convention!!

The biggest contrast is the sign of a real leader. At the Democrat Convention the only hero roll was taken by Kerry himself. Tonight, at this Convention, real heros were honored from all walks of life. This contrast, to me, is very special.

It was on MSNBC too (I quickly flipped to see) and the other cable news networks...and besides you know how they will all have to jump on the bandwagon & replay Guliani over & over?

Just like the Swift Boat ads that got more play in the media that they didn't have to pay for (free advertising!!!)
