Thanks for posting this -- I just heard it. We're already seeing him use his old playbook to smear the vets again and turn the country against them -- and now, again going at the throat of our nation. What was his phrase back then, asking a man to die for a war that was"a mistake?" Foul, shameless traitor - SAME MAN today!

Six months is "within his first term," so he's got that covered. Must be trying to move away from that statement which the Arab press has picked up on and is celebrating over. Just a moment ago, I heard that at a rally he said he planned to have the troops out in 4 years. Stay tuned.

"I’m so confused. Anybody know how many flip-flops this is?"

I dunno... The other night, Leno had the U.S. women's gymnastic team on & beforehand tagged Kerry with "double reverse - triple flip-flop".

I'd laugh, but it's too scarey!

Seriously though, folks...

"It's the wrong war, in the wrong
place at the wrong time."

Talk about giving hope to the enemy!!!! Evil or Very Mad

'He called the president's talk about a coalition fighting alongside about
125,000 US troops "the phoniest thing I've ever heard." '

It'd be nice to hear what Tony Blair thinks of that comment!

And, Kerry completely ignores how controversial it is in Korea,
for example, to give any help at all. The leaders in many countries
have really stuck their necks out for us, and some will likely get
their heads chopped off for it. (Already happened in Spain.)

Ahem! What is wrong is John F-ing Kerry. He's consistent because he's wrong about everything, and he's definitely the wrong man for President. And that folks, is the only truth that is relevant, at this time, IMO.

Of course, Tony Blair probably can't really (publicly) say what he thinks of
Kerry's statement. But, I wonder if anyone here has any connection with any British (or other countries) military personnel in (or have been in) Iraq who don't appreciate Kerry's comment. That might make for a nice little tidbit to circulate around the Internet...

Oh, and yes, I am highlighting Kerry statements in red because it seems appropriate, in more ways than one!

Wrong war, wrong place, wrong time? Is this the same John Kerry who on Dec. 15, 2003 said the following?

SEN. JOHN KERRY (D-MA): "Iraq may not be the war on terror itself, but it is critical to the outcome of the war on terror, and therefore any advance in Iraq is an advance forward in that and I disagree with the Governor [Howard Dean]." (Fox News Channel's "Special Report," 12/15/03)

What genius lurks in the smoke filled backrooms of the John F. Kerry Campaign headquarters? A devasting strategy was just hatched. (thanks to Paul Begala and James Carville). Since Kerry cannot talk about two Americas after the RNC convention, his new campaign theme will be "alphabet soup"...... surely a punishing blow against George W. Bush.

During the inaugaral launch of his new campaign speech, we hear that " W" stands for RONG 38 times in a row. Now that's catchey! [did not dare to use the waffle word"]

I am very impressed with the creativity of the Swiftvets who know exactly what "F" stands for. Is it Fraud? Is it Foney? Is it Flip-Flop? Do you have any better ideas? Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Forty-Nine members of the coalition

http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/iraq/news/20030326-7.html

might want to take issue with Kerry calling them "the phoniest thing I've ever heard."

I hope we hear from a few. This was clearly an insult to all the nations that have supported us.

Didn't Howard Dean make this exact statement during the democrat primary.

"Wrong war, wrong time"

I think this is a sign that his base is eroding and Kerry wanted to rally the Dean and Michael Moore crowds

Yep Kerry not only flip floppede he stole Dean's line. Call Dean whatever you want and he does deserve it becuase hes a nutberger but he doesnt flipflop, he was against the war from the beginning and stuck with it.

I bet the democrats would have had an easier time electing Dean than john weathervane kerry.

Kerry had given hints of appeasement with every opportunity presented to him. No doubt every Arab terrorists are applauding Kerry's message, and their terrorist media outlet, Al Jazeera, is headlining this story.
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/D374AD90-9355-4DE5-B1F2-D8CE093B1A0B.htm

What kind of message is this sending to troops? John Kerry had demoralized the troops in the 70s, and he is doing it now still. he may be a flip/flopper, but some trait remains unaltered...

It is just one more example of Kerry's lack of moral character for him to plaigarize Howard Dean's characterization of Iraq as "The wrong war, at the wrong time". Watch the Republicans flip flop video. First he lifts Bush's "Bring it on", and now this. Stealing others speeches is what caused Joe Biden to drop out of the '88 primaries.

I guess we could also then say Kerry is the Wrong Man running for the Wrong Office in the Wrong Nation!

And there's a Kerry lesson there, too.

The "legitimate" coalition that GH put together
would only agree to an eviction from Kuwait.

From the standpoint of genuinely removing
the underlying threat posed by Saddam, the
Gulf War I coalition was a no win coaliton.
Precisely the sort of coalition Kerry would form,
if he could even get that far.
