No offense to the person who started this thread, but this could cause mass confusion and prevent donations. Has the adminstration addressed thos thread? I sent the admistration a copy of my e-mail and told them it all looked legit and it was being discussed on the board.

The email is legitimate and the link it contains is legitimate.
It appears that one of the spyware variants could be re-directing requests for that link to a different site.
This is only going to affect computers which are infected with that web bug or spyware.
The same thing can happen to you if your computer is infected and you try to go to the donation page from the main page of the site, because it's your browser's request for the donation page that trips the re-direct.
If you end up at:
https://www.swiftvets.com/swift/ccdonation.php?op=donate&site=SwiftVets
and that's the address showing in your Address bar, then you're at the right place and your computer is probably not one of the few infected with that particular bit of spyware.
In the meantime, the people upstairs are aware of it and it'll get tracked down and taken care of.

It's looking more and more as if this may have been a simple case of disinformation. Perhaps intentional, perhaps accidental.
Let's just chill and see what shakes out.
Compare the donation page's URL with this one:
https://www.swiftvets.com/swift/ccdonation.php?op=donate&site=SwiftVets
and as long as they match, you're good to go!

As soon as I get one of the original letters complained about from the poster on freerepublic or as soon as we hear any news, we'll post it.
