I hope the next ad is not about whether Kerry was in Cambodia. Ad No. 3 already treated that subject, and I'm not sure that resonates much with everyday, non-military people.

Maybe "dazed and confused" might refer to Kerry as he fled the scene when the mine went off under PCF 3. Kerry is also on record as saying that he "couldn't think" between the two plane impacts on the World Trade Center!

I'm anxious to see the new ad, but as others have pointed out, it might be more effective to wait until Ivan comes ashore, and news about Ivan dies down.

Somewhere along the line, a SBVT ad will have to talk about Kerry talking to Hanoi in Paris, and maybe another one about Kerry downplaying the casualties from a withdrawal of American troops from Vietnam. In that case, we could also play back Kerry's recent comments about false prophets--Kerry won the False Prophet of the Year award in 1971!!!

I was also thinking how hilarious it would be if "Dazed and Confused" was the video of Kerry running from Congress when it was evacuated on Sept. 11th. This is the guy you want in charge if we have another attack?

It will have to use Kerry's own words or the hysterical leftists and their media will claim it is a forgery or whatever the right term would be.

maybe it's about Steve Pitkin.... dazed and confused would describe him at

Going Upriver rebuts the Swift Boat vets, but it will also bring them back.

The Long War of John Kerry, a new documentary by George Butler, hits
theaters in the United States on Oct. 1. The film, which had its world premiere
here Tuesday evening, is sure to land the Swifties in the news again. For one,
the movie is based on Tour of Duty, the Douglas Brinkley hagiography that
the Swift Boat vets say incited them to action in the first place.

More important, Going Upriver seems designed to rebut, one by one, the three
campaign ads put out by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth: one questioning
Kerry's heroism during the war, one criticizing his antiwar testimony before
the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and one condemning his decision to
throw his ribbons over a fence in front of the Capitol during an antiwar
demonstration. Butler re-edited his film in response to the Swift Boat ads,
and he said after the premiere that the movie wasn't finished until Tuesday
morning.

Since the preview clips of this movie have close-ups of Kerry asking
Steve Pitkin questions about atrocities at Winter Soldier ....

Doya thunk that Butler maybee will have anuther try at editing scenes?

Hmm ... but ... but ... the world premiere was last Tuesday?

I guess Ii need to buy Tour of Duty -- but I hate the thought of it.

I think that the Navy Archive documents will prove Kerry's story is mostly fantasy.

I wonder whether Steve Pitkin remembers if Kerry and his buddies were smoking pot at those meetings? They sure look like a bunch of pot heads. And, if they were smoking pot and Steve can truthfully testify to that little item.......

That's like asking someone if there was any Scotch at a party for Ted Kennedy.

I like the name! It's a bit edgier than all the other ones. Maybe the SBVT are going to get a little nastier.

My bet is that this is a Pitkin ad... seeing him say he was sorry for all he said when he and O'Neill were on Capitol Hill brought tears to my eyes... why doesn't Kerry have the courage to appologize? (rhetorical question)

me too.... the tears; what a burden he has carried all these years; on H and C tonight he said he was a Christian and he needed to ask for forgiveness when he could reach the most people.... you did it Steve! confession is good for the soul....

Kerry just doesn't know the difference it would make in his life...

Kerry shouldn't be quoting stuff he doesn't understand.... I heard on tv that he hired a 'religious adviser' - good grief!
