I didn't watch it... She actually used that tired 'selected' crap?

Rather and CBS have made such a botch of this that I wonder if the Dems will now blame him if they lose.

A lot of people involved, from Hoffman on down. But when they lose, there's one man they might blame. And he's not even a Republican.

All that's happening, all that's shaking out in the media, on the web, structurally that people don't even sometimes see because they are part of it, the very 60 Minutes II piece itself, all was caused by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

That's been the catalyst. People don't like Kerry, it's true. He seems imperious, as it's been said. Snobbish. Disdainful. Mean. But the Swifties were a real catalyst in clarifying the real Kerry, on the specifics of his record frankly more than anything, which went precisely not to Kerry's character and integrity, then - but now.

I agree 100%, we laughed during the interview as well, what was even funnier was watching Dan Rather at the end of the segment. He looked so uncomfortable, like someone was holding a gun to his head to say they were going to continue to investigate the documents. I can't believe they dragged that poor woman out there to do this interview

She's no innocent. She's practically a Carville/McAullife clone, herself, in some ways. But I agree. She likes the attention. But she shouldn't be encouraged, this way. This isn't her best. It's her worst. And really, frankly, you could call Rather pathetic. But I'm not sure there's even a word for it.

I didn't watch the interview, sorry I can't even look at Dan Rather right now, but I was just wondering. Did she sign a sworn affidavit like the Swifties did? or are we just supposed to believe the memories from 30 some years ago as proof.

The media bias is almost becoming laughable except that so many people actually still believe them.

Go over to the Forum here for Resources and Research and let CBS and their sponsors know how you feel. There are Links and E-mail addies posted in that section to help you. I just did all of them and urge everyone else who reads or posts here to do likewise. Never think that one voice cannot make a difference. It can!

Swiftees have indeed changed the direction, and God willing, the outcome of this election. Truth will always win out. Wrongs will be set right. But the same as Freedom Isn't Free, the truth has to be championed. Swiftees are leading this mission. We must support them. The stories of the V Vets must be told.. by themselves, by their children and wives and family. We must find ways to get more public attention. Yes the election is imperative or the truth will possible be forever lost. I wish I had a specific plan or suggestion but painfully I don't. I trust that with all the talents of everyone on this site a plan will emerge. We will continue to support the effort monetarily. Now we are writing letters to the newspapers. We are contacting Hannity(God Bless him) and Oreilly (one can hope), but there needs to be a public forum? a tv special? Do we have a media professional onboard? Where's a PR when you need one? Oneill is TERRIFIC and he is doing some heavy lifting. I have great respect for him. The true political philosophy of Kerry must get into the forefront so voters understand they would be voting for communism and not just more money for healthcare, or to keep abortion legal, or some other personal, single issue. A Strong America allows all other issues to be discussed and voted upon. That is the priority. CTW

So, Bush is accused of having been a cocky young fighter pilot
who perhaps got away with bending some rules 30 years ago, OMG!
They have proved NOTHING!

At least he never beached his craft.
At least he got an Honorable Discharge!
When did you get your Honorable Discharge, Senator?

If this is the best See BS can come up with it's more pathetic than ever.
They are attacking the Commander in Chief of the past 4 years with this drivel,
to bolster their traitor, John Forged Kerry.

I'm sick of their nonsense.

Okay ---everyone right now -- repeat the first post you put on this forum. Dont' go back and look. Just repeat to yourself exactly what you typed on this forum yesterday, a week ago, a month ago... come on now -- certainly your memories are better that of an 86 year old woman.

What was your second post? Your third post?
How many reports did she type in those days. What documents did she type before she typed reports relating to President Bush? What reports did she type immediately after these documents? Come on her memory is so wonderful... Oh I know she remembers President Bush because she knew he would be President one day by being "selected not elected."

Yet another example of somebody like Hannity to do what CBS could have done with a phone call or two to find Killian's son to point out the lady's true job. I sent an email to CBS last night, as if it would do any good, but it made me feel better.

Dan Rather and CBS is in the wrong country. They should be in France.

Dan Rather's phone number is 212-975-6677.
Someone will answer the phone most of the time. Tell them how we think.
