Hello all,

I am a third generation military man, and my nephew who is now in Iraq, is fourth generation.

While I served, I never once questioned any of the decisions made by anyone in my chain of command as far up as the President (some of which I didn't fundamentally agree with).

Holgrym, this thread is for veterans to introduce themselves, and give a brief history of their military service, i.e., what branch of service, career field, duty stations, years in, etc... Please if you want to be political, start another thread of your own, then you can spew your anti-Bush views all you want. But be warned, this site is an anti-Kerry site, and we do not take lightly to those that come here to troll! You have been warned!

I was in USAF 635 combat support group in Thailand 6-68 thru 6-69 loading b52 with 500 & 750 pound bombs.

Never thought of a way to turn this year into the cornerstone of a presidential campaign, then again I'm not the lying delusional SOB Kerry is

I had posted a while ago with my military history but now found I have 0 posts! So here goes on reporting for duty.

I was in the US Army from 91-93 in 6/29 FA (MLRS)
Although I served during the first Gulf War, I did not see combat as the war was over about the time I graduated basic training. I trained at Fort Sill and served in Strassburg Kaserne in Idar-Oberstein.

I'm glad this forum isn't for Nam Vets only. I wanted a chance to thank you guys for what you are doing.

I served with VFA-15 out of Cecil Field. I was active duty from '94 - '98. I'm currently a reservist hoping to do his part.

God help us if John "F"in Kerry is elected. I thought it was bad enough serving while Clinton was CIC.

Welcome fellow veterans of all eras and branches!

You're all welcome to participate in this forum - there are MANY vets who stand especially behind our Vietnam era brothers and sisters.

That's why many of us are here, now - to help them get their message out and to thank them.

They were there for us, before and here they are for us again! Welcome home and welcome aboard!

I was 14 when the war ended (Vietnam). I enlisted at 19 when the hostages were taken in Iran. I served on USS LaJolla (SSN 701), USS LaSalle (LPD 3/AGF 3), and USS Wisconsin (BB 64). I used to be bothered that none of the ships saw combat while I was on them, but I realize today that some of us are there to keep the Military ready for when it is called to service.
I am with you guys 100%!
