We delivered weapons to the Khmer Rouge

The Khmer Rouge were mercenaries at that time and they would fight for who ever paid the highest price.

So, Kerry was delivering weapons to the same people that were shooting at him on the same day?

He can either sign the SF-180 or he can run for office. He can not do both.

If Kerry wouldn't sign the 180 to save his presidential career, there is no way in h*ll he is going to do it now. If his records could have squashed even a portion of the Swiftee allegations, you can bet that he is vindictive enough that the files would have been out there before the ink could dry on the 180.

As for the statement that "he wished the CIA officer that gave him the hat would come out of the woodwork" and corroborate his story, you could rewrite it "I wish my imaginary friend would come out of the woodwork and tell you all about my imaginary trip."

This bit of tripe is as painfully fertilizer-like as the imaginary world leaders that he claims to have met prior to the election and supported his candidacy.

Kerry simply has a gift for making outrageous claims and citing invisible, unnamed, or imaginary people to support him. That CIA officer will come out of the woodwork at about the same time as Kerry signs the 180.

That will be the day after never.

Actually, I ran into a guy in the bar on the twelfth floor of the President Hotel in Saigon in 1970. He said he was CIA, but he didn't have a hat so I didn't believe him.

That's Silver Star with "V" device, and that "V" device should be evidence enough for an informed population to send this megaFraud packing.

That "V" device is evidence that a clerk was either over-worked, or ignorant of what medals got a "V" device, and what didn't.

Perhaps Doug, but, call me cynical, since Kerry hasn’t, and never will, sign a F180, he damn sure is hiding stuff. Although it probably doesn’t matter anymore . . . history may well view Kerry as the last guy to die in Vietnam. Is that irony?

However, as you might expect, I am dismayed that you’re still defending the loser. I’d suggest you start betting on a new horse—Hillary. Betting odds are currently at 35% that she’ll be the Dems 2008 nominee. Hell, I hear the woman now even agrees with Bush’s faith based initiatives, and expect she’ll be born again any day now. Maybe Kerry can lend her that Rosary he took with him to Vietnam.

don't get to excited... Kerry said he'd SIGN the 180 - he didn't say he'd submt it to Navy records dept ! He'd just put it thru his shredder!

time to email russert to follow up on this stuff!
why should the swiftvets release their military records? they aren't running for anything! leave it to Kerry... he sounds like a 5 yr old whining... 'if I have to eat my greenbeans, so does Polly...' (or whatever name of sibling);

so he's back to saying he WAS in Cambodia... was on the border on the 24th / eve. hmmm.... didn't he say somewhere that he was 50 miles away????

again, he can't give anything the swifties said that wasn't true (tho he tried with the cambodia story)....

I didn't know the ??? rouge people were the enemy! wow! way to go Kerry! you gave weapons to the enemy during time of war???

I' m emailing Frist tomorrow....

btw, I taped it! and it is coming on again now....

another btw, Kerry SURE DID have a chin job! what a difference from back in the 70's!

oh yeah, and Kerry trying to say that he ALMOST won... so Bush doesn't really have a mandate (that does sound more like a Kerry thing...) - if a few thousand people in Ohio had voted differently... etc...
well, if all those people who don't even exist in WI weren't getting their votes counted, Bush may have won WI (more people voted in some areas than there are registered to vote).... same with WA !

Kerry said they were ambushed on the Cambodian border on the 24th eve... and it is a matter of record... anyone know if it's in a AAR for that date????

I think skerry should go to Iraq, oversee a recount, and demand that all the people who couldn't vote get the chance to do so. Laughing

After the immensely successful Iraqi elections, someone needs to ask Kerry, “ Hey John, why the long face?”

Apparently so. Typical flip-flopping Kerry.
