“Could it be Bush by a landslide in 2004?!?”

Well, I’m starting to think that … but then again:

John F-ing Kerry lost Zell Miller's support, and I don't understand why he hasn't lost Joe Leiberman's as well. the Dems have treated Joe as a pariah, and they don't really deserve his loyalty.

On an historical note, last night, between 2200-2300 hrs, The Fox news Channel blew all other networks out of the water, including the big three NBC, ABC,and CBS! This from a current Drudge headline.

Times, they are a'chang'in.

Hi to all SWIFTIES and their fans..

As someone from another country (Austria) supporting your quest for truth, questioning the past of Sen. Kerry - in which he seemed to have been at least knowingly aiding communist propaganda, I can only "raise my hat".

you are running a campaign of UNPRECEDENTED SUCCESS. I saw all your ads (linked from your site) and I'm truly impressed by their clarity and the way in which the get your message accross.

you started with less than $1m in funds and now you seem to have attrcated an avalanche of funds from supportive organizations (Larry Kudlow mentioned Progress America among others). Now even a close friend of mine in "heavily Liberal" SanDiego saw your ads on Fox. This is interesting since California is certainly not a "battleground state" in the classic sense. IF your ads are runnign there it tells me you are making inroads into real big money. Well, you earned it, that'S for sure.

Frankly, (with enough college classes in marketing) I've never seen any advertising effort that could match your impact. Truly astonishing, in a postiive way..

cheers !

Hello Austria - thanks for the kind words! Smile

zinfella, I could have easily supported a "President Lieberman," even though Bush is my first choice. I'm probably closer to Joe Lieberman on social issues, actually and he was the ONLY candidate credible in foreign affairs and pursuing the war on terror. He knows how vital this war is to our future.

His party threw him under the bus - and they've treated him like crap just because he firmly supports the President on war issues. He is a man of honor and courage and they threw him away for this candidate who is what? More glamorous? More electable? I still don't get it.

It's in the MSM interests that this be a horse race. It ceases to be newsworthy if it's already over. If it's already over you don't need them to shape your opinion.
It's too close to call keeps you coming back.

When Kerry was nominated just on the strength of winning the first 2 primaries, all of his contenders were ripped apart. As a nation we knew nothing about Kerry, his medals, and his post war record. All we knew was lib from Massechusettes. I smelled a Nixon/McGovern landslide. Looking back I can't believe the press was giving McGovern face time as bad as he was polling. The MSM doesn't want this again.

Burning questions, unless you look at who is controlling the Democratic party. Terry McAwful is STILL Bill Clinton's hand picked man, and he's still pulling the strings at the DNC. In plain languge Clinton is in charge. It is McAwful that keeps the Clintons involved, even going against the wishes of the Kerry folks. When you combine that with the FARRRRRR left support base for the Dems, it makes perfect sense (to them) to ignore Joe. When he was on the ticket with Algore he was a means to an end, therefore worthy of support. But that's not the case now, so as far as they're concerned, who needs him? Joe is an American first, and a Democrat second. John F-ing Kerry is for John F-ing Kerry first, and whatever is necessary to that end is accepted.

I agree. The Democratic Party won't have to work too hard this election to get the vote out -- they’re stomping at the bit to vote in November. So, if the Republicans are complacent and don't go out and vote, then Kerry will win this election.

I do think the SBVT can inspire the Republicans and the Independents to vote and vote for Bush. Without the SBVT I think so many of those voters would stay home giving the White House to Kerry.

I wouldn't be surprised if either Lieberman or Miller jumped. I think their is enough room in the GOP tent for the both of them.

Flipper John remains in an approximate tie with Bush and has endless assets beyond dollars. Stay the course for a mere 61 days.

Although I respect Senator Lieberman's courageous stand in favor of the war in Iraq when many other Democrats have criticized it, I don't believe that he would ever become a Republican. His stance on social issues (notably in favor of ALLOWING partial-birth abortion) puts him much closer to the Democrat mainstream than the Republican mainstream. His "hawkishness" concerning Iraq and Afghanistan probably comes from the fact that he is Jewish, and a strong supporter of Israel, which had previously been threatened by Saddam Hussein.

Zell Miller, however, is pretty much a Republican on most issues. He is probably one of the last remaining conservative Southern Democrats (along with Sen. John Breaux of LA) who hasn't yet "jumped ship". Remember, former Senators Phil Gramm and Strom Thurmond used to be Democrats, and a Rep. from Louisiana recently switched parties to be a Republican!

This is just for a laugh. Since we are covering the media and John Kerry's meltdown, I thought tis would give you all a chuckle:

Major Owen, in case you din't know is the congressman who claimed that 20 million slaves were thrown off the ships crossing over from Africa, and that to this day hungry sharks are still waiting along the route they followed.
