Here's exactly what Kerry said about his having visited the wounded at Walter Reed:

I mean, I understand you just went over to Walter Reed; I've been over there, and I know it had an impact on you. I'll tell you, when I met those kids over there and you see some of them with their arms grafted to their legs and they're, you know, going through six months and a year of dealing with a wound that came about because they don't have the armored Humvees over there, because some of these kids are over there without the state-of-the-art armor. I mean, this president sent people to war without the state-of-the-art equipment, without the kinds of allied support, without the kinds of judgments that should have been made beforehand.

The thing that is appalling is that Kerry didn't start a Congressional investigation into the fact that Walter Reed is grafting soldier's arms to their legs! If he actually saw this, I believe it is medical malpractice of the worst kind, and if he cared about our service men at all, he would not let their arms be grafted to their legs! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
