not only is it superscript but it is also a smaller font size.

I have adobe acrobat - the PDFs from CBS are images...the text can't be edited directly. I made my version directly out of word...so you can select the text in it though...

I am currently looking thru the document examiners site (expert witness, forensic document examiners) trying to see if anyone lists an affiliation that might hint to their political leaning Smile

Why don't you call them! The notoriety alone would make them do this pro bono.

Yep - just trying to narrow down the choice - Could be a good publicity stunt for them if we are indeed correct. If anyone knows someone that has this expertise (and maybe is former military??) please give them the bone first Smile

I've just sent their link to Major Garrett at Fox.

Thanks for your help.

I just retyped the May 4 memo. With 1" margins, everything matches except the position of the date. Using the standard tabs positions the date just slightly right.

Everything else lines up exactly right.

I suspect that the memos were typed by different people on different computers. My guess is that the heading was typed by someone who has automatic orginals (the superscripted part) turned off. The body was typed by someone who hadn't turned it off, thus is slipped in.

Fake, fake, fake.

Great Job YGTBK,

Garrett says he's on it but we should try to get a document examiner to look at it. Someone want to take that on? I'm sure they'd do it pro bono.

All comparable documents on that web site are in typewriter print, as I would expect them to be.

There is one document that has both Courier and Letter Gothic print, but it looks like the top part might have been typed in Courier and the bottom part (something added as it went up the chain) is in Letter Gothic.

ASPB,

Are you spearheading this? Seems like Hannity, Rush, Drudge ought to be in on this in addition to Major Garrett and Brit Hume.

This smells suspiciously like that faked flyer "someone" says they got at an RNC office that they claimed was made by the SBVT. It is definitely not Courier font (that typically found in the run of the mill office typewriter). Each letter would take up the same amount of space.

I find it difficult to believe that after all this time, and all the picking over of Bush's files that have been done since he first ran for public office, that something that had "CYA" as the subject line would have been overlooked unitl now.

Mighty convenient that it comes from the files of a deceased man who obviously cannot dispute or confirm the veracity of this letter.

I'll write to them but I don't need credit. Everyone else that believes what we've developed should go to your media outlets of choice with the story. And do it soon as the the Blathers of the world are manipulating the un-informed as we speak.

> This is not a pro Bush site but ...

If some anti-Bush "documents" are forgeries, clearly,
the legacy press is willing to run with material
favorable to Kerry without lifting a finger to validate it.

The implications for the SBVFT effort is also clear.
No one can accept Kerry's published "documents" at
face value, unless those documents can be
independently obtained under an SF-180.
