So O'Reilly gives us his theory: the book is exaggerated in part--the medals, and true in part--Kerry's betrayal. Typical O'Reilly.

In the next segment, he will try to nail O'Neil on some partisan-right-wing crapola to smugly proclaim "I was right."

O'Neill got him. O'Reilly tried to equivocate the medals with the anger about the anti-war stuff and he got sloppy. O'Reilly admitted that Kerry probably lied and inflated his medals. Now we have to inundate Bill with mail and talk about how INTEGRITY, HONESTY, TRUSTWORTHINESS are the traits that make a President. Not lying about medals to run away from your duty and your friends.

BOR is useless. He probably will be in Kerry's next book. This interview has more to do with BOR claiming that he's covered the issue!

BOR cut off the Rassman story--he's always held Rassman in high esteem and believed his story(ies).

Let O'Neill tell the Rassman story!!!! You blew it Bill. You just had to have the last word, and you weren't even there.

BOR is lost. Kerry did stupid things in his youth? BOR doesn't seem to remember that soldiers DIED!!! That MILLIONS of Vietnamese and Cambodians DIED!!! He is so morally bankrupt just to get ratings...it's dizzying.

Given BOR's desire NOT to be labeled as a "bomb thrower," it seems balanced. All of us disagree that Kerry served honorably, and Mr. O'Neill answered the question by saying he agreed with the second part; implying that he disagreed with the first part about honor. In the last 5 minutes, Mr. O'Neill could've but didn't smear Rassmann. Overall, another home run.
