I never even heard of this joker until a few months ago, and now he's some big shot.

I don't get it. Looks like a complete media creation to me.

I listened to him talk and he sounds like he has good sense. If he's a Democrat, he's a good one from what I saw. He doesn't need to be a "media creation" in that collection of nutcases to rise quickly. Wink

he slammed kerry for flopping on defense...he impressed the hell out of me. he looked to be a more centralist democrat like zell

Obama is a joke....but when Jack Ryan (republican) got caught in hugh scandle (him and his wife Jerri Ryan - from the Strek Trek Series Voyage she played the female borg 7 of 9) got divorced and the DNC leaked his divorced and the reason they got divorced (guess they had a kinky open marraige - which both Jack and Jerri both asked the judge to keep this priave and somehow Shocked

got leaked to the press - his bid was over)...they brought up Alan Keyes from the south and very, very far right with so really far out ideas and no chance of him winning...I couldn't even vote for him. I wrote in Jack Ryan. Just couldn't vote for Keyes.

He's smart and talented . . . but so are a lot of guys.

I'll probably get shot for saying it but since no one else will . . .

. . . he's a light-skinned black guy that talks like a white guy.

I know we Republicans are the ones who are supposed to be race-concious but the Democrats exploit race for all it's worth.

He's the perfect Democrat.

I can't stand Alan Keyes. I'm in Wisconsin, but we are entertaining a move to Chicago. I've listened to Barak Obama a couple of times, and he seems ok....well, "OK" is relative when the only other alternative is Alan Keyes, I guess! Shocked

Obama is the closest thing we have in Illinois to a socialist. He's very Kerry-like because he says things which totally contradict his voting record and people believe him!

From what I hear, Obama's definitely being groomed by the Democrats...I don't like Alan Keyes, but there was no way I could reconcile a vote for Obama...

Part of the problem in Illinois (I am in Illinois too) is the Republican Party is somewhat of a mess. It is my understanding (we have only been here a year) that there have been a couple of big scandals that have rocked the Reps. I mainly voted with the popular vote in mind.

We live so close to St. Louis...I sure wish I could have voted there so I my vote could have counted. IL is so DNC it is not funny!!!! Thanks to Chicago....I might just have to move across the river!
