I am listening to sean hanity interview someone who represents the swift vets. in this interview he is asked about comments he made on another discussion board, using a screename. the dem attack dogs traced it back to him and he has apologized for some commets he made. this concerns me b/c i do not feel safe positng any longer. apparently some of the swift vets are receiving threats to their jobs, people trying to get them fired.
I can't believe this is america. I no longer feel safe posting.

That's unfortunate. That you would stop posting. That is why we are in Iraq. So that we won't stop living the American life because we fear the nuts.

My instinct is to say you are worrying about nothing but I'm self-employed and just don't give a damn what those cretins think, or try to do.

However, I can understand that others are not in my situation. Do whatever you feel like you need to do.

The comments were attributed to Jerome Corsi because he told people on one forum about the pseudonym he used on another forum. He said he felt comfortable revealing his real name in this other forum. Few people reveal their real names in discussion forums.If you don't tell people your real name comments made under a pseudonym cannot be attributed to you. I'll also add that finding comments made on a message board in order to discredit someone shows the level of desperation of the Kerry campaign if that's the best they can do.

Corsi is a vocal and committed conservative and has participated under his own name on free republic.

This is a totally different thing from posting here under an assumed name.

thank u for the comforting words. I am having trouble believing this is what america has come to.
Sean also said that in NY they have stickers with threats to the presidents life or something like that up all over. How do these people get away with this? this is not the america i grew up in.
i will continue to support u guys, but be careful what i put in print. looks like it going to be a knock down drag out fight to the end.

Don't let them win wednesday. That is exactly why the kerry attack dogs have been doing that stuff to scare people just like you off into submission so they can steam roll over all of us. They can't win on the issues. They can't win on their position of the war. And they can't win against the truth that these brave Veterans bring to the table agaings kerry, so they're left with only one recouse. Behind the scenes jackbooted threads, coercion, and plain old bully tactics. It's just that simple. The ONLY thing to do is to just flat out say NO!!!!! HELL NO!!!!! NOT IN MY COUNTRY! This is America and the kerry camp side is never shy about pushing what they think down everyone's throat, and it is time for that to change! NOT IN MY COUNTRY! That is after all how all unethical entities work. When you can't win being fair, and truth isn't on your side, then use threats, and coercion, and fear to scare your opposition into submission! I think if Ronald Reagan were still alive and in the middle of all this, he would say something like, "Well. I'll tell you what. I just don't believe that Mr. kerry has what it takes to be President of the United States, and we can't afford the mistakes it would take to prove it". In the way that only he could say it. And that, would be that.

But there is no way that some kerry troll could come after you. And if someone threatens you with that, you just make sure and make it public knowledge here and save the e-mail, and I have feeling that that person's life as theyknow it would come to a sudden and abrupt halt. Smile

Threats as a way of defeating someone's convictions and beliefs CANNOT be tolerated OR given in to. Stay the course. Keep the faith.

That is to bad you feel that way. I work in radio and just let them try that crap with me! I'll take my 15 minutes of fame and let my voice be heard loud and proud!

The thing with these people trying to smear that you must realize.....that is all they have to do when they feel backed in a corner. They can not say the truth...it would hurt the election. They can not confront the truth....because once again the truth comes out and it would hurt. So they are like little weasels in the corner. It actually helps this cause because they can not dispute the truth so they attack. Anyone with half a brain should be able to see through that.

I just got back from a fishing trip, and WOW... my mailbox was loaded with some demagogue spammer screen named "SwitVetLiars" or something like that.

I hit the "report spam" button.

I'm not worried about it. If they really want to find me, it won't be hard; and if they come around looking for trouble, they won't be disappointed.

I think there are Kerry "lurkers" browsing the site, and if your email is not hidden, they spam you with their propaganda.

Suggestion for the webmaster: Require registration and log-in in order to view any posts.

These Dim crying babies are so fast to claim First Admendment rights so they can say/lie/do whatever they want but then turn around and try to intimidate those that speak out against them. I will continue to stand with you guys for what is right! I do not care what the libs do.Why because I CARE about what happens to this country.I am sick of the liberal socialist agenda.and will always oppose traitors like Kerry.I have not had the honor of being in the military but have grown up in a family who has served.I do not believe I have the same right to speak out like you brave veterans .You have earned it,I believe you should have more of a say than me.I could not even say what I am saying now if it was not for all you Veterans who protected that right.But I will back you and my country which I love.
