Well, I try, Cam Ranh '71, but I'm not very good at the PC thing, any more. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

It is this simple: In the event and action that LT(jg) Kerry fraudulently got himself a Silver Star, he also fraudulently got Del Sandusky a TOTALLY UNDESESERVED BRONZE STAR. From that point on Sandusky was bought off.
If memory serves and you guys will know the details, one or two other current Kerry defenders got Bronze Stars and the rest got Navy Commendation Medals. ALL UNDESERVED because the action reports were fraudulent, exaggerated, etc.

I respectfully disagree.
Look at the citation for Kerry's Silver Star -- the one for which he was actually awarded the medal, signed by Zumwalt. It is detailed and accurate.
If I am not mistaken, the one SBVT member (I believe there was one out of the 22 or so Swiftees there that day) who was present doesn't dispute Kerry being awarded the Silver Star.

My understanding is Kerry's DD 214 lists it with a combat"V" , not/never awarded by the Navy. Ficticious. Ain't no such animal. Isn't that one reason for the Navy's ongoing investigation?

Heya, Doug,
We're sort of moved past the actual citations, at this point, except to refer backwards to them.
For instance, why is there verbiage removed from the first version for the second and third versions. Have you kept up with the charges from www.judicialwatch.org or the investigation by the Holzers?
Some of our volunteers have gone to the source material from which the citations were written.
Well, the original citations, anyway.
We don't know upon WHAT, exactly, the embellished later versions may have been based. Possibly the writings of John Fraud Kerry, just like the AAR's.
You might have read one of Thomas Lipscomb's latest pieces - it originated right here. More are in the works.
In fact, I heard today that a further chapter to Unfit for Command is soon to be available on the Internet - it contains more of the AAR's and some of the other rather odd documentation found at the Naval Archives and the Vietnam archives at UT-Lubbock.
So.... I've been wondering about how you're dealing with all the campaign madness.
There was something that came out recently in which the good Senator was clearly under-reporting the actions of the Army guys aboard the boats and seemed to contradict your recollection of events that day. He just didn't want to give you guys any credit at all. It was almost like you weren't even there.
I wondered when I saw it, if that was enough to make you see that this guy had used as many of you as he could, in any way that he could, just as he walked over so many broken and bloody bodies in his climb to power. Have you read UFC, yet?
Is there anything that would get you to put down your pom-poms?
And I'm not attempting to be a smartazz - not entirely, anyway. I've been especially concerned with some of the guys that Kerry has possibly bought off. Particularly Del Sandusky, who is apparently quite fragile and has been taken advantage of in a most foul way.
A few months before the Iowa caucus and these guys reportedly ALL hated Kerry for what he had done - except for Sandusky who feels a justifiable sense of loyalty for Kerry. But, he sits down with them and has a long talk and "all is forgiven?"
How painful it is going to be when they find that they've been used.
But, then again, how deep must a betrayal be before the blinders come off? This guy has clearly shown his stripe and it doesn't seem to have made much of an impression upon his little BoB - rather strange, isn't it, that of the two who spoke at the DNC on his behalf, one served with him for six days and one for possibly two - and possibly none at all?
It's all very sad, to me. Having been dealt a few betrayals of this sort, I remember the pain all too well. And the worst part was that in hindsight, I knew they were coming, if I'd just paid attention to the signs.
Oh well - good to see that you're keeping an eye on us, "the opposition."
As you might see, we've built up quite an arsenal over the months and the movement is going past Swifts and this election and into an overhaul of our schools and our media.
Energize middle America and you just never know what might happen. I think they're finally fed up.
Good luck. God bless you, Doug Reese. You "true believers" are going to be the ones hurt the most before Traitor John is finally done.
How many more will he hurt before he is finished?

I didn't see that. Please send it to me or post it here if you have it.

Absolutely -- got it as soon as it came out. Send me your copy and I'll autograph it -- on pages 83-85 or thereabouts.

Doug, I'm sorry to hear that.
And I was sincere about not intending this to be entirely smartazzed.
Good luck. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
