Letter I sent to a friend after watching debate.

Hi J,

Watching the debate tonight and couple of points Cheney made which nailed Edwards. Cheney made the point that Edwards and Kerry have flip flopped on the positions they have had on Iraq due to political pressure. They were for it when it suited them then were against it when they were down in the primaries to Dean. Cheney said "If they cannot stand up to the pressure of Howard Dean, how will they stand up to the pressure of Al Qaeda". Edwards also said America was carrying 90 percent of the casualty and 90 percent of the cost burden. Cheney made the point Iraqi forces are part of of the casualties and when configured with the debt relief countries have forgiven Iraq for the burden we carry is 50 percent. Well Edwards later said we are carrying 90 percent of the "coalition" casualties. Cheney was a bit ticked about this and said this is more of the same in reference I believe to his earlier statement regarding Kerry and Edwards derogative statements about the Iraqi leader. Cheney went on to explain how The Iraqi people should be considered and respected for their sacrifice. Very good points by the V.P. Ok the rest was about domestic stuff. A trial lawyer talking about domestic issues makes me sick. Blah Blah Blah I want tort reform. Edwards speaking as if he cares for people. If he cares for people why did he never take a case where the baby died rather then live? The reason was the payout is lower on dead babies then ones that need care till the day they die. Edwards is a disgusting individual.

Opinion V.P. debate: Cheney was a stoic warrior who cast a fatherly shadow over the young and inexperienced Edwards.

The freakin AP rushs out with a story that debunks Cheney's comment about never meeting Johnny Jr.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,134589,00.html

But hey, Cheny was confused, back in 2001, Johnny Jr hadn't yet reached puberty ... and we dudes tend to change a bit after that happens.

Either that or the guy was even more of a lightweight back then and Cheney certainly didn't remember him.

Or he meant "professionally", not just socially.

I find it quite funny that if they actually met 3 times previously that neither candidate remembered. Supposedly, Edwards wife was the one who told Cheney about the one meeting.

Edwards little story about waking up and seeing the "glow of the television set" in the livingroom story had to be drivel.

He said his Dad learned math from TV. From where? Sesame Street?

Rush Limbaugh today reported that his "millworker" dad set up his own mill and consultant business. Edwards protrays him like Bob Cratchet (?) of Scrooge fame or worse.

He just came off a smarmy and desperate to recite his talking points. The blinking was maddening.

As usual, caught lying AGAIN!

Blinking and licking - reptilian behaviour often associated with lawyers in a public forum.

Loved the comment by armybrat - 'slapped him, picked him up, slapped him again.' Perfect.

Edwards made many doctors do unnecessary Caesarian births because of his claims (now disproven) that asphyxiation during childbirth caused cerebral palsy."

I've heard that in the trial he cupped his hand to his ear and said something like "I can hear the voice of that little baby crying 'let me out, let me out.'"

Funny he can't seem to hear the little voice of the babies being aborted (which he supports) crying the same thing.

The following is written by Ann Coulter

http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=4423

In one of Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:

"She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing OK.' Five, she said, 'I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'"

She's saying, "My lawyer needs a new Jaguar ... "

"She speaks to you through me and I have to tell you right now -- I didn't plan to talk about this -- right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."

Well, tell her to pipe down, would you? I'm trying to hear the evidence in a malpractice lawsuit.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde on the death of Little Nell, one must have a heart of stone to read this without laughing. What is this guy, a tent-show preacher? An off-the-strip Las Vegas lounge psychic couldn't get away with this routine.

Is Edwards able to channel any children right before an abortionist's fork is plunged into their tiny skulls? Why can't he hear those babies saying, "Let me live! Stop spraying this saline solution all over me!" Edwards must experience interference in channeling the voices of babies about to be aborted. Their liberal mothers' hands seem to muffle those voices.
