Admin note:
To the forum:
While we encourage posting of views on both sides of this very heated issue, please do not resort to ad hominem observations about either our forum as a whole or its individual members.
As forum admins/moderators, we will, henceforth, simply delete offending posts in total. I would suggest that, should you be unable to resist an ad hominem in a lengthy post, you make a copy of your post for possible re-posting as it will no longer reside in this forum. Nor will we be open to lengthy PM discussions of the transgression.
Let's keep this forum civil and on topic.

I believe the Schindlers would donate that money to the research of those suffering as Terri to ensure that this never happens again according to a Fox News report on this subject yesterday.
BTW I am a trained Physicians Assistant and I have seen people that truly are PVS.....I will not argue if Terri was or was not....I was not involved in her care......my beef is that the justices did not allow all the evidence to be admitted so that this case could have been fairly decided. I also take issue with Judge Greer that unlike many judges that have been in his shoes, who have gone to access the patient for themselves personally, Judge Greer who had 15 years never did once go to see Terri for himself. |

Hi Doll,
re the Arts & Entertainment documentary.
I dont know, but would guess that no one would gain from that, since it was a documentary. I found it worth watching, ie the interviews with Terri's family. And the extended tapes of Terri were quite an affirmation - that there was someone there, a beautiful, innocent, smiling person was there. _________________ .

I am sorry Kate, I must not have been clear. I was not refering to the documentary. CBS will be putting out a movie.....in May...about Terri Schiavo...it will not be a documentary according to Fox News this morning.
I think it is in poor taste. |

Yeah, I'll bet right now Dan and Mary are huddled over a keyboard "polishing" the long-lost notarized document Terri left behind saying in part:
"if I ever get a hang nail or infected pimple I would want to die NOW. Preferably by starvation if you can't arrange for rats to gnaw me to death. Got gators? That would work, too. Michael said to mention that there has never been any abuse, so no autopsy, please."
You see, this will revive both Dan's and Mary's careers, and some people will believe it. Since they are perfectly capable of making, um, finding the key documents themselves, there is no need to pay Michael Schiavo for his side of the story.
What a bunch of sick puppies. I hope the Schindlers sue that s***bag murderer-in-law so he can't profit from Terri's death. _________________ DLI 78
