Also, we don't have enough information to make a shoot or no shoot call from the comfort of our homes.
There could be other reasons (which cannot be made public) for not taking them out.
For all we know, we had spies or Afghan assets with members of this group who could lead us to bigger fish.
I would judge that the fire control officer knew more than we ever will.

What I would like to find out is just WHO gave this (classified??) video to CNN!!

Well stated Shawa...we just don't know. Assuming we did have an embedded element in that formation, we've just capitalized, at least, on some propaganda value. Perhaps the leak of the photo was from the "good guys".

Terry Sanders of NBC said he recieved the video from military intelligence officers and was assured it was declassified.

They had no problem with it being broadcast. Whatever the reason, we just don't know. And whoever at Fox said the UBL was there must have been off his meds.

Personally, I rarely watch ANY TV news anymore, including FOX. (except for Britt Hume who has a very analytical rational mind).
They lost me last year with Katrina coverage. Remember the hysteria.
I surf the net, taking in and analyzing various views and form my own conclusions. Much better than getting some canned script from TV talking heads, most of whom are incapable of critical thinking.

I agree with everyone here. If UBL was there we can't go back and we will not have an opportunity like that again as Anker-Klanker said. Fox said nothing about this today and I am truly begining to believe that even Fox does not have all their facts right, which I believed they would and is why I felt the way I did and based what I said on.

So much for Fox News aye? Rolling Eyes

Gee I'm sorry but he said No and I heard Go. You know, radio communications sometimes aren't that clear.
If I would have heard the No word, I wouldn't have pulled the trigger I assure you.
