I think that the reason the Swifties have had such an effect on Kerry is precisely because the facts are on their side and they have not overplayed their hand.
Kerry's responses are not the responses of an honest man who has nothing to hide. The more he attacks back with smears and easily debunkable claims, the more he damages his own credibility.
The MSM have lost control of this story. This story has the most precious kind of advertising, Word of Mouth. The impact of Swifties is completely off the radar of the MSM because they miss the character of it. It is the millions of veterans and other good solid Americans out there that know a rat when they see one that are giving this legs. No amount of advertising or spin will be able to stop it.
The Swifties will win as long as they do not engage in partisan mudslinging. Stick to the facts, stand up for what you believe, tell the truth and the people will help them.

what the Swifties have on their side is the TRUTH.... I still believe truth will win ! Kerry doesn't need to worry about money to spend on ads.... their 527's have more millions than I could count....

but maybe if the ads aren't to bad... he'll still have to spend time defending them.... but I don't like mud slinging... wish there was a way to make everyone stick to the truth....

kerry and his people are going to be spending time trying to figure out what to do about the Navy investigation (not our 'Navy' here... the big Navy....) and Kerry's comments last night about Cheney's deferments... when he also tried to get one, is not gonna make him look good... having it said on Fox and Friends this a.m. wasn't good for Kerry.... maybe other talking heads will bring it up now...

"White" Republicans criticize Sharpton... Bring up Willie Horton again.. This ad will energize the left. More fodder for the liberal MSM. The SBVT will be guilty by association. Do not like the name "move on" in their name.

The new 527 group has little if anything to do with truth, which is what the Swifties are all about. It's every bit as sleazy as the Dem's MoveOn. Sad to see things descend into the scummy bottom, rather than being raised up to the light of day, where the Truth will out.

I can tell you that I rarely venture into new venues in this campaign, even though I think this campaign is for the security of this nation.

Swiftboat Veterans for Truth have so much damning evidence that it's impossible to ignore this site. If you could get one Kerry supporter to spend some time here, they'd know as well.

I've voted Republican since Reagan, call myself a Republican, but if a piece of crap like this came up, I'd be on the Dem bandwagon in a heartbeat. Makes you wonder how any veteran can vote for Kerry. This guy is bad and a tall salute to the SBVT's for bringing honesty to politics. You never need to paint the truth, it's red, white and blue.
