Congratulations, Grandma!! I hope my wife doesn't see this. She's itching for our daughter-in-law to make her a Grandma too. It's so bad, I think she's trying to sneak Estrogen into her coffee.
Our best to the young couple, and best wishes for a future CNO! _________________ Phil Toth

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for all the congrat's.
tugboatphil, I totally understand your wife's feelings, it's like all of our friends are grandparent's and we are like the last ones. I've had to be patient for a long time and finally the patience is paying off. I will keep you all in my thought's and prayer's that you will get the same kind of wonderful news sooner than later.
CTW.........yes, it is wonderful news amongst everything, that is one reason why I just had to share it. We all definately have to make sure that this child and no other child is born under a Kerry Regime. _________________ Proud 2 Star Blue Star Navy Mom

Congratulations Grandma!!! I'm so jealous! I am the youngest in a family of 9 - all but one of my siblings are grandparents - I'm still waiting.
I babysat a two-year-old little girl today. She's the daughter of one of my son's friends. Cutest little thing you ever did see. Maybe one day my son will make me a Grandma.

CONGRATULATIONS from Texas.
Beginning a gramma is the bestest thing in the world. When I saw my grandbabies for the first time it was love at first sight and grows more each and everyday. |

Thanks Everyone,
LOL Mark, I know Army produces brats, but the last few years I think all the branches have taken on the brats term, LOL. If this baby takes on any of my daughters traits from when she was young it will be a brat, ROFLMAO, payback time, LOL.
Lew, yup I can't wait to spoil and send em back to mommy and daddy, just won't be able to do it much since the kids are stationed in VA but they do plan on moving here in a few years. They want out of VA.
SOTG..........ohhhhh I like that idea, now who else has grandkids that we can put up for Prez between now and then!!!
ontheright,
WOW, I can't imagine being part of 9 in the family. I only have a younger brother and he was enough for me to fight with. It will be a long time before he can be a grandfather as he and his wife adopted a little girl a couple years ago and she is only 2 1/2, she is so adorable but she's in "THAT" stage *shiver*. My SIL is the yongest and last to have any kids so his parents are also on cloud nine. They have granddaughters so are hoping they get a grandson this time.
I have had to buy my time with lot's of patience to get to this day and I can tell you when your day comes, all that patience pays off big time.
Armybrat,
I bet it is, I can't wait to see this baby. I won't be able to be back there right away my my daughter's MIL is planning on being there for me. We are going to help the kids come out here after the baby is born so everyone in the family can see the baby, especially the great grandparents. I started a baby afghan a couple days ago and am almost done.
Thanks again everyone, for the congrat's. Now we need to get back to some serious business of Sinking Kerry Swiftly.
Morning paper showed Kerry leading Bush in WA by 8, grrrr, of course we have Seattle which is the most liberal city I think in the state. _________________ Proud 2 Star Blue Star Navy Mom
