Has anyone seen the email address Burkett used for his email he sent out about SadMax? I have also seen references to postings he has had in newsgroups, does anyone know any names he used for newsgroups. It might be interesting to do a newsgroup search on both his email address and any name he posted under to see Other postings he has made through the years.

I was able to find some additional postings on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Texas-Democrats. I only was able to go through 2004, he has been a member since December 2002.

This group does not believe they are the one mentioned in the articles about the August 21 email according to this posting by the group owner:

I wish I had time to look at 2000 - 2003 before bed but don't. I'm afraid messages could be deleted if too long passes.

I read somewhere that Mary Mapes called CBS a few days before the Labor Day holiday to say something had broken loose and wanted permission to set other stories aside to work on.

Next item of interest is this story that there are two versions which differ slightly. He was attacked on Memorial Day, reading these made me thing of the movie "A Beautiful Mind".

And at last, we know why he had to use a Kinkos. This was posted on February 17, 2004 by his good buddy shootingstarr4U:

I spent 3 1/2 years at college in Abilene, most people there do live in reality, this is an exception.
