This morning Charlie Gibson did a glowing piece on John Kerry as seen through the eyes of George Butler. Butler is a photographer who has known Kerry since 1964 - at which time he said he believed Kerry would one day run for president.
What Butler failed to say, and what Gibson failed to inform viewers, is that George Butler is the same George Butler who co-authored/edited "The New Soldier." And we ALL know what book THAT is.
It's time to let these folks know we won't tolerate their obfuscation of the truth. GMA will also be airing an exclusive interview with Kerry later in the week. Their feedback page is listed below. Let 'em know what you think!

This is a head's up, people. The next spin of Kerry is the documentary
coming out Oct.1, Going Upriver, directed by Butler. Since Kerry hides behind his wall of syncophants like Butler and the DNC this flick is part of
Kerry's strategy to rebute the Swiftvet charges. The movie is based on
the book, Tour of Duty, the other way Kerry attempts to spin his time in Vietnam and after with the VVAW. Remember, Kerry has refused to answer any questions about back then, said "bring it on" then hid sending out the book and now the documentary. "Going Upriver" needs to get seriously torpedoed, it is based on Kerry's mistruths and re-enacted war
footage from Vietnam. Got to keep on exposing this guy -- he knows how to fight dirty, doesn't care if it's a lie. |

Email sent!
I told Charlie about the Book, in case he didn't know. I was polite and gently CHASTISED him for not doing his homework. Told him I really expect better from him. |

My email to GMA today...
I enjoyed the piece on Kerry this morning, however, in all fairness and for the purpose of offering balance, would you not agree that it is finally time for an indepth interview by you of the New York Times bestseller John O'Neill? Many of the serious allegations in the book "Unfit for Command" have been proven or admitted to be true, and NOTHING in the book has been proven false, contrary to the common dismissals of this book put forth in much of the press. This is a very responsible, carefully researched and documented analysis of John Kerry and deserves at least as much attention as the many opposing points of view that you cover so thoroughly on your fine show.
Thanks for your consideration. |

Hannity and Colmes I believe is touching on it right now. I just caught the introduction that said they would be interviewing the photographer from The New Soldier. _________________ If Kerry is the answer.... It must have been a STUPID question. |

Just sent an email. Saw Butler on TV and think he looks like he's on valium or something. He expressed almost no emotion. Very strange!
