John has not really flip-flopped, he has bobbed and weaved, but the essential Kerry is as transparent as glass. He has never changed from his 1966 commencement speech at Yale as the leader of the political union as described in this 1972 interview in the Harvard Crimson.

"...[Kerry] urged the United States to withdraw from Vietnam and to scale down foreign military operations. And this was way back in 1966" Kerry aid that the United Nations should have control over most of our foreign military operations. "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations.

He was antiwar and anti Vietnam, even in 1966. And, he believed the UN should be the arbeiter of foriegn conflicts.

When he was drafted, John Kerry wanted to go to Paris to study, but was turned down by the draft board.

John Kerry enlisted in the Navy. It was the safest branch and the branch his hero John F. Kennedy served in.

John Kerry had a very safe tour on the Gridley.

John Kerry volunteered for the Swift Boats. The were operating in safely patrolling the shores of Vietnam. And they were the closest thing the Navy offered to yachting around Nantucket.

John Kerry arrived in Vietnam for further training. After only two weeks, operation "Sealord" began. The Swift Boats were to patrol the dangerous rivers to cut of VC supply routes.

This was not what John Kerry signed up for. He was in real danger. He had to find a ticket out.

The three Purple Heart idea was born. With every scratch and bruise, he applied for a Purple Heart. After three, he got his ticket home. He became so adept at medal manipulation relating to his Purple Hearts, he was able to blow up a couple of routine incidents into a Bronze Star and a Silver Star.

When returned, he had the credibility based on his "medals" to get a leading roll in the antiwar movement. He sensationalized, exagerated and lied about every incident he every heard of in Vietnam.

He said he threw his medals over the White House fence in 1969. He has said that he threw the medals of other vets over the fence. He actually threw medals that he had purchased from pawn shots over the fence.

Yes he lies, embellishes and "bends the truth". He almost freely lies to support positions that he believes in. He sees these lies as a necessary tactic to accomplish the far greater TRUTH of his Utopean society.

John Kerry rolled this into his US Senator gig. True to his roots, he voted against every military, CIA or weapon systems approriation.

True to his roots, he even voted against the first Gulf war even with a UN Resolution and a huge coalition that even included nieghboring Arab countries.

In 1992 John Kerry ran for the Presidency. He was vulnerable on his war vote and lost the nomination.

Draft dodger Bill Clinton, needed a VP with some military "bona fides". Based on partly Kerry's war vote, Bill Cliinton passed over John Kerry, the hero, for Al Gore, the 6 month tour journalist.

In 2001 John was postioning himself for a run for the presidency. And it was Deja vu. A war against the same man, Sadam Hussien, being prosecuted by George H W Bush's son George W. Bush. And the stakes were higher than ever after 911.

Because he really wanted to be THE PRESIDENT. He voted against his conscience. This was the only time.

He then returned to his roots and voted against the 87 billion for troop support.

Can you imagine his frustration, when it looked like Howard Dean was going to win on as the "anti-war candidate".

At first he tried to defend his war vote but he was less than passionate. He was saved by 6 billion dollar loan on "his half" of Teressa's mansion. The press turned on Dean like a bad rash in Iowa. They portrayed him as a kook.

When John Kerry won the Democrate nomination, he was the "anybody but Dean" candidate. To become the "anybody but Bush" candidate.

Nobody has supported the "fish like" persona of john Kerry.

In trying to estabish his war "bona fides'" he had to gone back to Vietnam, because he has nothing in the last 20 years except his last war vote to show that he can lead the nation in war.

He was flushed out in the "alternative media" by the Swift Vets. The MSM has never told the Swift Vets story.

I believe that he is through "bobbing a weaving". At this point he really has nothing to lose.

He has come out and said that we should not have toppled Sadam. He did this with passion and conviction. He may become a formidable foe.

If his message is going to be: "We, should operate through the UN. Make the UN responsive. Awake its conscience! Use its resources to make the world a better safer place! "

A Utopean world government in the name of the UN. Where nations live together in harmony. All leaders sit in "politically correct equality" and decide the fate of the world. Where the "greedy" nations are fined for their excess consumption. Where American soldiers can be sent to die for UN causes.

We say, "John, Bring it on! You namby-pamby, medal-manipulating, wind surfing, braggart of a yachtsman, who - by the way - served disgracefully in Vietnam!"

This is going to be a fun election! Well it already is - so far!

That would actually be "US Naval Reserve". Like the National Guard, among the last to be called to combat.

Other than that nit, a quite concise statement of the man's life.
