I found this, I haven't heard of this! The author of "Home to War", Gerald Nicosia, had his home broken into and files about Kerry and VVAW were stolen.

This story took a weird turn, he refused to let the cops process the crime scene and there was no sign of forced entry.

Sounds like an inside job to me. He blames the Republicans, of course, but I don't think that's the case.

These VVAW files that were declassified through Nicosia's FOIA request, are now all over the internet. They are the same ones that are now at wintersoldier.com and paperless archive, ie.

That story about the theft of files from Nicosia has been discussed here on previous threads. That was certainly an odd chain of events, lots of speculation on who swiped them from Nicosia files. Wink

Didnt turn up much on search, so let me amend my statement. Nicosia & the FBI files have been discussed here, but IIRC the discussions about the the theft itself, et al, that I was recalling, were on a different site/forum. Sorry 'bout that misspeak. Sad
