Kerry's plan for getting out of Iraq rests on getting other countries to go in there so we can reduce/get out. I think it was Wolfson (needs a shave) on Linda Vester today that said Kerry would be able to get France to partake in the effort. (Didn't Chirac say yesterday that wasn't going to happen?) Anyway, I thought I'd try to find out how large the military forces are in the different countries, and found a very good chart at the following website:

http://www.nationmaster.com/graph-T/mil_arm_for_per

The US has the third largest amount of people in the service: 1,3666,000 as of the year 2000. China is #1 and Russia #2. Think either of those will send significant forces to Iraq? India is #4. Again, I don't think so. #5 is South Korea, with 683,000 troops. They already have troops in Iraq. France is #17, with 294,000 - but they'll never go. Germany is #21. If the government there had been conservative instead of social democrat, maybe they would have helped - they did in Afghanistan. Poland is #22, with 217,000 troops, and they have been very helpful. The UK is #23, with 212,000, and they likewise have been there beside us. Where does Kerry propose to get all these troops to replace our soldiers? Saudi Arabia ? The Saudis can't because of their domestic situation; the same goes for Pakistan. Please Mr. Kerry - Where are the replacement troops coming from???

Thanks for the link. i do like it but i think the search engine looks for text or something because i noticed that North Korea has no military personnel although they have the second largest army and the third largest airforce
