I read the best article I ever have in the Jerusalem Post. It basically states that what would happen if we decided to fight a more sensitive war, if we decided to "talk to the terrorists", tried to understand their reasons for fighting..could they have a leader that emerges like Arafat?

I urge you all to read it..it is the most convincing argument ever!

I hope you all can link to it..if not let me know..

Excellent article. It says the truth.

Alas, the other side isn't interested. Hussein Massawi, the Hizbullah leader behind the Beirut barracks bombings 20 years ago, put it at its pithiest: "We are not fighting so that you will offer us something. We are fighting to eliminate you."

It is sad that so many still are in denial after 9/11.

Chilling.

Prescient, too, unless a whole lot more people wake up and smell the coffee!

Quote:
The other day, after the video beheading of American hostage Eugene Armstrong, his killer explained: "Now, you have people who love death just like you love life. Killing for the sake of God is their best wish, getting to your soldiers and allies are their happiest moments, and cutting the heads of the criminal infidels is implementing the orders of our Lord."
