>>Taking comfort from Kerry: Celebrating in Baghdad under the black flag of Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi's group around a burning U.S. tank. IMAGINE if, in the presiden tial election of 1944, the can didate opposing FDR had in sisted that we were losing the Second World War and that, if elected, he would begin to withdraw American troops from Europe and the Pacific.

We would have called it treason. And we would have been right.<<

Warning: This will not be Politically Correct.

I imagined that Kerry became President during WWII and we pulled out of the war. The Holocaust would have continued unabated. Instead of 6 million plus Jews exterminated they would have been eliminated by now, at least where Germany and it's allies had established their control. This would also include Catholics, gypsies, all the others that Hitler sent to his camps. It sounds farfetched, but then it was only until our soldiers fought their way to these death camps were these atrocities exposed to the world. By then it was too late for the millions already tortured, forced to work in slave factories, or starved or gassed to death, then cremated.
This included women and children.

Sounds too awful to believe doesn't it, that this occured. Some even put forth that this was all a myth. Well it wasn't, and the danger lies in those
who cannot face the truth that it could happen again.
