| October 30, 2004 is the date for the March in Detroit. The march will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the corner of 12th Street and W. Grand Blvd. It will proceed east to the corner of W. Grand Blvd and John C. Lodge Freeway. If anyone is not famulair with this location this is the site of the 1971 Winter Soldier Investigation. We have contacted both campaigns and asked to have both canidates attend. We have also written to the VVA, VVA Michigan Chapter and most of the Michigan Posts and invited all Vietnam Era Veterans to take part. The purpose of this parade is to give all Vietnam Era Veterans the Parade they never got but is well deserved. We have also notified all the local media but have yet to get any coverage whatsoever. By the way we also suggested to both campaigns to add the site of the Winter Soldier Investigation site to a possible site for a Presidential debate. |
