Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a new member, but been lurking around for awhile. I believe what the Swifties are doing is GREAT. I hope the American public educates themselves before they go to the polls. And they better go to the polls!! I'm disgusted with the lies that are out there. I guess the Kerry people are trying to prove the saying "if you repeat a lie often enough it's taken for the truth". Thank God the Swift Vets are here to tell the truth. Stay safe.

Welcome, I haven't been around long either, and it is addictive, my husband says maybe I'll get something done after the election. My morning starts here then drudge, kerryspot and newsmax. The swiftsight being my favorite, they ususally have the news first. ENJOY!

Hey Elle, Smile

I haven't been around long either, no military background and certainly not a regular to political activism, or "forums. It just seemed to me, that there was something about this Kerry guy that I didn't trust and didn't like. Confused Woman's intuition? Rolling Eyes So I, almost by accident, found "Unfit for Command" and then this "Bunch". These people are my first experience with an "addiction"! My family and I have learned so much from these people. My husband and I were too young to really know what Vietnam and anti-war activists were all about, back then. Our kids didn't know much either, because our public schools try to forget Vietnam was a part of "Our History". So we all got a "cliff notes" education on Vietnam, anti-war activists, and MSM propaganda from this forum. It's all been very enlightening. I've been voting for my choice for President, for about 25 years. This is the first time I really understand what's at stake. I'm ashamed to admit that, but it's true. My choice was never thought out or researched as thoroughly as today. Congratulations on joining this fine group of people, just trying to set the record straight for "all Americans". Very Happy

Hey, Elle,

All the above, plus, you get to watch "real time" as democracy (or to be fair to both sides, our "republican" form of self gov't) is evolving right before our eyes! I'm a sci-fi fan too (I noticed the "JadziaDax") and this is as amazing / fascinating as anything any sci-fi could ever speculate on. It's even more addictive than my fave show (B5) was! And watching these men fight to get their and their comrades' honor back... Words fail me...
