After hearing Allawi say that of 18 provinces, 14 or 15 are safe and secure and only 3 are still suffering turmoil, I was very confused. Does that mean that the "news reporters" only "tell us" what's happening in one small area of Iraq? I agree with the earlier comment about wanting and needing to see some of the good that's being accomplished in Iraq. I've spoken with several returning servicemen from duty in Afganistan and Iraq. They tell me that the crap we see here on the "news" is just a small part of a much bigger story. Most of what they see and do there is good. They quickly admit that of course there are still "bad guys', but there are bad guys everywhere. Kerry recently made remarks that alluded to, Bush's America, having forgotten about Afganistan, al-Qaeda and Bin Laden. We haven't forgotten, the "reporters of the news" have. Why? Because the Coalition has made progress, and that's a positive, and they don't "report" on the positive. MSM get a clue!!! Not all of us need, or want, to see the aftermath of the car wreck. Show it and tell it all, good and bad, but don't spin it. Report it! You remember how to do that, or is it all showbiz baby?
