If you have a chance drop Mr. Steinberg an email. Seems he needs to meet a few people that care about Iraqi's democracy. |

Just emailed:
Hey Neil, I happen to care a lot. I also understand that the mission is to turn the tide of tyranny in the region and have people having a say in how their government behaves.
As a father of two sons 14 & 16 I happen to care. We can deal with it now or face a much larger and harder enemy in the future. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. If we get to a point where we choose not to go out because of fear, our economy will sink and in the end so will our nation. Vote Bush. |

Dear Mr. Steinberg
Your statement in the Sun Times reflects your narrow range of social interaction. " I never met a person who cared whether the Iraqis enjoy the fruits of democracy or not.
There are actually millions of Americans who understand the reason we are working to build a democracy in the middle of the Islamic world. Your world view is obviously tied to your narrow concept of duck and cover. President Bush's multifaceted war on international terrorism includes, by necessity, the concept of introducing personal freedoms that this world has been denied for generations. Young men with educations and jobs do not choose to blow themselves up or to join the Jihadists if they have hope for the future. Only in America can you find people of education and privilege like John Forbes Kerry and other leftheaded people who do not understand that freedom is not free. Peace and security must be bought with the price of our blood and treasure. We did not ask for the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11. But, thank God, we have a President in George W. Bush who understands that you cannot negotiate with terrorists and that we must take the fight to them before they bring it to us.
It is a very sad thing that so many liberals enjoy these "bully pulpits" from which to preach the indoctrination of appeasement and surrender. Thank goodness the internet exists to enlighten the public to the absolute hubris and ignorance of the incestious mentality that exists in the majority in the mainstream media. Times are changing and the" liberal viewpoint as undebated truth" will soon be relegated to the ashheap of misguided idealogies. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

People like this just make me see red! Below is what I sent.
Dear Mr. Steinberg,
I care, my family cares, and you ought to also Mr. Steinberg.
This stew of Islamic militants has been brewing since the 60's and while Carter stoked the fire in 1979 by castrating our efforts in the middle east we became complacent and weak in our efforts.
It's not evil capitalist that the peace loving militants wish to get rid of, they wish to get rid of anyone thet does not believe the way they do. That would be you Mr. Steinberg and any other wishy washy apologists.
Think about the recent videos of those poor people being executed in Iraq. Think about how easy that could be done here in a rented house or abandoned building. The video can be uploaded to the internet at a Kinkos or a new Hotspot.
Think about how disruptive the DC sniper was to the country. Imagine a 3-4 people a week being slaughtered by men with dull knives in this country on the internet. Your wife, your neighbor, your mother, or maybe your preteen old daughter screaming for her life.
Think about that Mr. Steinberg. This all started long before Bush and other Presidents chose to ignore terrorism inflicted upon our people as if it would go away on it's own.
You damn well better believe I want a democratic Iraq and if I was young enough I would join up in a heartbeat.
Sincerely,
XXXX XXXXX _________________ Mad as Hell! |
