http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A45682-2004Sep23.html
Quote: | President Bush, after a campaign appearance in Bangor, held his plane on the tarmac when he heard an MD-11 carrying 292 Army reservists and National Guard members was about to refuel here. For the troops, grimly heading toward an 18-to-24-month assignment in Iraq, it was a welcome lift. For Bush, who has been accusing his Democratic presidential opponent, Sen. John F. Kerry, of demoralizing the troops in Iraq by criticizing the war effort, it was a chance to demonstrate his devotion to the troops. |

I think I can predict 292 absentee votes for Bush right there! _________________ The traitor will crater! |

If Kerry did have a press conference he would have said that the President delayed relief and reinforcements to those brave soldiers in Iraq, and he did it for his own political purposes. _________________ Doc Ford

You can tell that the CIC cares for those he puts in harms way. It goes to great length to show the love and compassion he feels for our troops. |

What a great site! I especially liked the comments that followed. Did anyone notice how short and direct they were? The pictures spoke for themselves. |

I knew I liked this man!!! He has more compassion and respect for his fellow man, in his little finger, than Kerry has in his whole body. God bless our President and those men and women serving their country. _________________ Born on the Fourth of July |

I know I was so happy when Clinton got out and Bush got in...I knew it would make a world of difference to at least the majority of the military... Bush is a real person... and a loving, compassionate one.... and it shows! and is natural.... he doesn't have to fake it.... and I've noticed a great difference when you see any of the troops with Bush than with Clinton! It shows on their faces also.... _________________ Stevie

When you read a story like that it underscores what a CIC is supposed to be and why KERRY is TOTALLY UNFIT. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. If we get to a point where we choose not to go out because of fear, our economy will sink and in the end so will our nation. Vote Bush. |

President Bush has Class (even with his shirtsleaves rolled up). Something Kerry will never have no matter how much he pays for those carefully taylored suits. |
