This is the part where he sounds most like Carter:

". . . The downside to [Kerry's] deliberative executive style, they said, is a campaign that has often moved slowly against a swift opponent, and a candidate who has struggled to synthesize the information he sweeps up into a clear, concise case against Mr. Bush," says the Times. "Even his aides concede that Mr. Kerry can be slow in taking action, bogged down in the very details he is so intent on collecting."

It was this very inability to react decisively and swiftly that led to such a calamity under Carter. John Kerry has a paralysis of will which will get the US in trouble under these trying circumstances.

As witness his admission of being in shock, unable to react for 45 minutes, when learning of the WTC disaster. Or was he just collecting details. And we need THIS in the White House???? Rolling Eyes Not only is his will paralized, so is his brain. He does have one.... doesn't he?

Maybe he's just being careful. Wouldn't you be careful if your immediate followers were:

McAuliffe, Terry (Global Crossing scandal); Lockhart, Joe (coordinated a forgery); Carville, James (Clinton character assassin); Barnes, Ben (Sharpstown Bank scandal, Texas Lottery scandal, real estate scandal); Harkin, Tom (lied about being in Vietnam); Kennedy, Ted (Chappaquiddick); Biden, Joe (college cheating and plagiarism); Rather, Dan (participated in a forgery, 1982 Westmoreland, 1988 veterans, lied about being a Marine); Mapes, Mary (orchestrated a forgery); Burkett, Bill (effected a forgery); Clinton, Bill (Lewinski scandal,et al.); Clinton, Hillary (Whitewater-gate, Foster); Fonda, Jane (communist aid, comfort); Soros, George (billionaire socialist, unscrupulous); Moore, Michael (propagandist millionaire, liar).

He has many more but this is the obvious rogue's gallery that immediately comes to mind.

It just occurred to me that a more complete "rogue's gallery" might be useful. If you have ideas, just post them. Just the names of his followers might be enough.
