Susan Estrich appeared just minutes ago on Brit Hume's show, on FOX News. Estrich agrees that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have had a dramatic impact on the presidential election campaign --much greater than any of the other 527's on the pro-Kerry side of the aisle.

There must have been a lot more angry letters like I sent her the night that she cross-examined Van Odell on Hannity & Colmes. You could see the fear and anger in her eyes that night. She's been around politics long enough to know what damage was starting that day...probably better than the Kerry campaign people did.

I'd be curious to hear what Van Odell does for a living. If he isn't an attorney, he maybe should have been. It must be nice for him to know that he beat a distinguished law professor in his very first TV debate.

We must constantly remind ourselves not to underestimate the basic American desire for truth and honesty. The SBVT ads were dead-on honest at all times.

The Swiftees are for truth. The Kerry-ites will say anything that comes into their little pea brains, and the American public is smarter that they give them credit for. They can tell who's tellin' it to them straight.
