All Bush needs to say tonight is:

"On September 11, we set a new course for America, and no matter how tough it gets, no matter how much I am attacked by the naysayers and the quitters, I will not stop until this job is done. And I say to you tonight, America, unlike my opponent I will not cut and run."

The words "cut and run" will be the scarlet letter that Kerry cannot shed.
