To quote from this article:

Quote:
According to unnamed diplomats and a Kerry adviser, senior officials from Germany and the Netherlands - which currently holds the European Union presidency - had high-level meetings on Iran with both the White House and the Kerry camp in recent days[b].

"The European message was that we cannot let weeks pass before the next deadline without doing something," one diplomat said. "We need a last-ditch approach, not more pressure, but a mix with a package and incentives."

Several sources said the White House officials responded with considerable scepticism to the European initiative, but did not reject it outright. The White House on Friday declined to comment.

What in the name of heaven was the Kerry campaign doing talking to the EU about US policy? Anyone know if this is normal. Offhand I can't remember ever having heard of that before.

Why is this not getting more attention! This is the very thing that Kerry simply gets away with time and time again..and most over look it. HE should not be negotiating, or talking to foreign leaders in the capacity of the US government. The President of the US conducts foreign policy..not the Senate and certainly NOT a individual Senator..and I am outraged by this..Thanks for the heads up..great post..I am on it, and will not drop this. Who do I call, Who do I write..everyone that is going to listen.

This is not a game my friends. This is not who won one point or the other on a debate. This is the future of the country..Get out there, volunteer, do your part to make sure Kerry does not even come close to the White House.. Evil or Very Mad

What those Clowns in the EU want is a weakened (militarily & ecomonically) USA. Scary Kerry would hand that to them on a plate, and dear Friends on that day (God forbid!) the American Way of Life not to mention our Freedom and Security will be at the mercy of Euro-Socialists who do not perceive Islamofacists as enemies of Western Civilization. The level of danger will be as great as the worst days of the Cold War. Share this site with your fence-sitting friends, help to open their eyes!

Kerry was probably invited as a courtesy to one who might someday (God forbid) be our leader. As a member of the Senate Intelligence Commitee he has clearance, and I'm sure Bush would have approved just on the chance that he might learn something. Also, we've sold lots of big bombs to Israel recently. Can anybody guess what they will be used for? And, I find it very interesting that the EU is saying about Iran exactly what Bush said about Iraq. Kerry, are you listening?
