One obvious question is what set of circumstances would pass John Kerry's "global test" for pre-emptive action?

Let's go back in time and put Bush's Iraq action to Kerry's "global test.

Indisputable facts before the action:

Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator, mass murderer and an enemy of the U.S.
He used WMD's against his own people and others.
He aggressively invaded a neighboring country.
He condoned and supported terrorism, giving financial awards to families of Palestinian suicide bombers.
His regime terrorized the Iraqi people, with public beheadings and the like.
He fired missiles at U.S. reconnaissance of the "no-fly zone."
He defied years of diplomatic efforts and 17 U.N. resolutions.
And he ignored an 18th unanimous U.N. resolution specified as his last opportunity to avoid "serious consequences."


Best Available Intelligence at the time, from many countries;

Saddam Hussein had WMD's and actively pursued greater WMD capabilities.
He wanted nuclear weapons.
He comforted and consorted with known terrorists.
He offered terrorists safe haven for recruiting, training and much more.

Conclusion;

If Kerry believes this action did not pass, there will never be a real-world "gathering threat" that could satisfy Kerry's "global test.

Therefore;

John Kerry will never use force to defend this country against the gathering threats of terrorism.

John Kerry is a closet pacifist misrepresenting himself to the American people as a tough war hero. He is against all military action of any kind. He shares the sentiments of France and other countries who vote for U.N. resolutions, but never feel the need to enforce them.

John Kerry has the mentality of all the liberal democrats who voted to give the President authority to go to war, but now claim he lied to the American people.

The real John Kerry is the same man who conned his way to 3 purple hearts in Vietnam, so he could cut his duty to 4 months, return home and use his "war hero status" to lead the anti-war movement and run for political office as an anti-war candidate.


John Kerry is impersonating a tough warrior who can lead our country's war on terrorism, to bamboozle the electorate and steal the presidency under false pretenses.

Just as the Swiftees have said, any reasonable analysis of his actual record proves that John Kerry is and has always been a passionate anti-warrior who will weaken our military and offer concessions to our enemies to avoid confrontation.

The latest proof of Kerry's anti-war proclivity comes from his own words in the recent debate. He claimed that Bush rushed to the wrong war and that he is not afraid to use pre-emption, but it must first pass the "global test."

It is John Kerry, not Bush, who has lied to the American people.
