I can't fully express just how deep of admiration I have for our men and women in our armed forces. Both past and present, young and old, they do us all proud. They, in doing their jobs, gallantly walk “where angels fear to tread” and all in the name of duty, honor, truth and most of all freedom.
Patriot is such an understatement for what they truly stand for. We, as citizens of this great nation, should never forget who have given us our freedom, the men and women who have paid in blood for our very right to have the simple things in life. We truly take so many things for granted, our right of free speech, our right to own and bear arms, our right to free elections, our right to practice our religion, and our very right to criticize our local and federal government! Why in the face of constant terrorism and tyranny across this planet do we casually take the very things, which others through out this world die for on a daily basis, for granted?
Do we have to be attacked every other month in order to hold our resolve? Do we really need to have another disaster in our country before we will unite once again and throw away our rose colored glasses! People, the truth is out there, and it’s easy to be seen, you don’t have to look very far. We are at WAR with the terrorists of this world! Not any one particular country, mind you but ALL countries that support terrorism! Do you need a list? Do you need visual aids? Maybe a business style presentation might help snap you back to reality!
No I don’t think we need any of those things I think all we need to do is listen to what our soldiers (you know they have a first person view of the situation) have to say about it, and who they want for president! I ask you all this…
If you really want to be in support of our soldiers out there in harms way then read the story “Letter to the American people from a soldier in Iraq” and then when you’re done get yourself a cup of coffee and do some soul searching. Because what our soldiers want more than anything else is to have the right person in charge in the White House and just as this soldier has written “that person is already in office as CiC”.
So do you back our soldiers or what?
If you do then there is only one person you can possibly vote for this Nov 2.
Grant our soldiers wishes and re-elect George W. Bush.
Sincerely,
Mark J. Millage

This guy makes some good points. One is, the military does not consist of "kids". Just because JF'nK thinks he was once a "27 year old kid" doesn't mean that other people aren't mature, responsible adults long before that. |
