Swifties I think this ad is a home run. My family members were not POWs but the emotions these expressed are mine exactly. I think the most powerful messages of this campaign have been from the SBVT and I am proud to be a contributor.

Paraphrased: "He advocated all of the enemy's negotiating points to our government."

Ka-ching!!!

Mrs. McManus and Mrs. Galanti were VERY well spoken and excellent representatives of Swifts!

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!

My admiration for you strong American women is boundless.

The point about Kerry using the Vietcong negotiating points is devastating.

Bless you.

I don't know about the rest of you, but this ad really moved me. Had the same effect as watching the second ad.

Great job.

Wow. Nice to see the women side of things. Those of us who served our country behind our spouses...knows what a hard job it is.

Go swifties go!

From what I saw, the new ad looks excellent!!!

What makes this particularly effective is that WOMEN (not soldiers) are telling viewers about how John Kerry betrayed their husbands, and this could be extremely effective toward women voters (especially those whose husbands/boyfriends are in the military), which the SBVT ads had not targeted until now.

I love this ad. I believe it will have wide appeal.

But if I had to be picky...and this is picky ...I would just change one line.

Instead of having the young lady say "Why is this relavant?...Because John Kerry is asking us to trust him."" over top of shots of Kerry flashing the peace sign.

I would have her say "Why is it relevant? Because John Kerry told us it is." over top of the now famous Reporting for Duty shot. Then say he's asking us to trust him now. If we couldn't trust him then how can we trust him now?" Over the famous shots of the last helicopter leaving Saigon as the embassy was over run.

Ultimately though I'm very, very proud of the folks who put this together.

They will trot someone out there and say they werent tortured for that reason, or something along those lines

They probably will, but I don't see it doing them any good. Quite the contrary. Enough POW's were tortured that the overall point of the ad will have the desired effect. Rolling out someone who wasn't tortured only makes Mr. Reporting For Duty look like a whining nitpicker as well as a traitorous swine.
