I don't agree. Consider this analogy:
Suppose you were on a game show and there were two doors in front of you. You are told that there is a prize behind one of the doors. You have to choose a door, but the game show host tells you that behind the door to your left is a huge lion that will kill and devour you if you open that door. Reasonibly, you'd choose the door to your right. However when you open that door, you find..nothing. You then find out that behind the door to your left wasn't a lion, but a prize absolutely wonderful. Were you be dumb for opening the door to your right? No, you were lied to. Same as with the opening statement of that question.
As with the election, how can you make the right decision if the information you're given is a lie? _________________ "Anyone can make an error. But that error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it" - Grand Admiral Thrawn, from the book Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn |

Like the contestant who chooses the door on the right to avoid the non-existent lion, this is the reason many people will vote for Kerry--they were lied to! _________________ The traitor will crater! |

Well, I don't think that we were "lied" to
but more likely distracted. Really this is
a good analogy for how easily human nature
can be deceived. I failed, but it helps me
to think about slowing down to look at
the info from several directions before
answering! Thanks 'powsnmias'! _________________

You're right. I just looked at it again. Sorry everybody, for the failed analogy.
And yes, I was distracted. Stupid Micro 401 test...... _________________ "Anyone can make an error. But that error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it" - Grand Admiral Thrawn, from the book Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn |
