I was sick yesterday so I wasn't able to post this, forgive me if it has already been covered.
While I was lying on the sofa, I woke up long enough to catch the tail end of a comment from John Gibson on Fox which I thought was very good.
Since the Democrats, France, Germany, UN and so forth believe that the US was wrong in invading Iraq, since they don't believe the world is a better place without Saddam and since Saddam is in custody, why aren't they trying to have him let out of prison and returned to office? Seems like the fact that they aren't trying to do so shows that they know Bush was right but won't say so for political reasons. |

Good observation.
But we already know they are complete hypocrites, so this is par for the course.
You can't catch a prevaricator in a lie, because they'll prevaricate their way out in circles.
Here's their biggest problem (kudos to whomever wrote this, but it's appropos). If the MSM would every send out this message, Kerry would have trouble getting 40% of the vote:
Quote: | Bush... as a war time president, has…
1. Stamped out the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
2. The Afghanis are having free elections for the first time, ever, with 10 million voters of whom 41% are women.
3. Osama bin Laden, who if not already dead, is squatting in a cave somewhere changing cell phones and laptops every 17 minutes because we are after him like nail polish on Kerry’s finger nails.
4. 75% of the world’s top terrorist thugs are in jail ... or hell.
5. Saddam Hussein is in prison awaiting his trial and execution.
6. Udai and Qusai, his demented sons, are slow-roasting on Lucifer’s smoker.
7. Elections will be held in Iraq in January.
8. Libya has sent all the elements of its WMD programs, lock, stock and poison to America for safe destruction.
9. Saudi Arabia has organized the first municipal elections in its 80 year history.
10. The sons of Libya’s and Egypt’s dictators have both foresworn any interest in succeeding their fathers.
11. And, most recently, Syria at last decreasing its armed forces in Lebanon and pledging, once again, to close down terrorist operations in their country. |
That's the bottom line. _________________ http://directorblue.blogspot.com - click for various missives on the folly of John Kerry's candidacy. |

Does anyone think that Saddam's defense lawyers will call John Kerry into court to testify that the War was illegal and that Iraq was better off while he was still in power....????? Hmmmmmmmmm! _________________ ATACKM

Wouldn't it be great if the moderator tomorrow asks Kerry if he will put Saddam back in power? And if not, why not? |

Remember, this is townhall forum. A member of the audience could ask it. |

I understand that this is a town hall meeting, with a twist. The audience submitted questions, but the moderator selects from them. Is this true? |

margie, I've heard the same thing. So it's not truly 'Town Hall.' _________________ No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
